    Snowing lightly. That yellow finger can’t quite make it from Todmorden to Bacup!!

    Woke up to this but as temperatures rise it’s blowing off the trees

    The tiny pink blob hit Bacup and we had a light shower. Still falling very lightly and more lining up heading this way at the moment!

    Very heavy again now every time I think it’s stopped it starts again and with the drop in temp it’s settling better

    coming down really heavily now and sky has darkened dramatically in the last few minutes

    It’s still heading for us and the clouds are building fast!

    I’ve seen snowflakes forming in fog in Bacup before !

    Yes it’s odd the forecast keeps changing one minute going west then heading for us ! Anyway we still have plenty on the ground but it can go now it’s turning to sheet ice thank goodness I swept the snow off my garden steps while I could. I’ve learned the hard way.!! At least I can toboggan on my own on my own field if things get really bad!! IMG_4422.mov

    Following a night of low temperatures everything ice frozen solid and this was a very brief flash of beauty this morning before the fog came down !

    Winter wonderland outside with every twig and leaf covered. Very powdery snow. Just coming to the end now looking at the radar

    snow started. Heavy and covering instantly as all surfaces frozen and loads more to come!

    The courtyard looks very water logged already. Just went out to tie down a garden umbrella and got soaked!! Let’s hope we get our snow

    It’s arrived in Bacup absolutely chucking it down with rain and the wind is howling

    Hard frost this morning in Bacup. Then some very light snow - I thought I’d set fire to the chimney again! But it was snow flakes!!

    Driving from Todmorden back to Bacup at about 11am today. This is about 1200 ft asl

    It will be interesting to see what the band incoming from the east will produce when it arrives here as we already have a covering

    We’re guaranteed to have feet of snow and freezing temps now my boiler has decided to play dead, no lights no nothing!!! Thank goodness for a big log burner and a fan fire!!
