    I’ve only got as far as opening the back door for the dogs but looking outside it’s windy and the rain is heading in. The radar shows some good squall lines further down the country so hopefully we’ll get one as the front goes through

    Thought my eyes had gone. Just the flashes here and no thunder. Lightening is constant!!!!

    On and off showers this morning and as the sun had come out and the radar looked clear I started to garden and all of the sudden the showers grew and we had hail!!

    We’ve just had a very heavy snow shower pass through Bacup. Cars and grass are white

    Left the house in sleet to walk the hounds and after two thunder claps it has turned to heavy snow.

    Why have we got this awful wind. It’s showing 14 mph on the forecast when it’s been far more here for days. Just like a Mistral no gusts just a constant blow and no shelter here from this direction. Been howling all night!

    Just started to settle properly and we now have massive flakes

    Lovely streamer aiming straight for me -wasn’t expecting that so a good top up to what’s still lying from earlier.

    Just taken the dogs out and it’s very cold in the wind and weather station is reading minus 3 already no wonder my fingers are falling off!
