  1. Once again!!!! a grey miserable start with no sign of any changes, I would say disappointing but it's been a theme this month for 21c+ sunny days to downgrade at the last minute and end up like this.
  2. Finally a bit brighter now, rather cool at 17.4c, also what/why is this grot suddenly out of nowhere on the charts for tomorrow! http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Rmgfs2412.gif
  3. Same here to, that heavy fine drizzle all morning and rather misty, all change tomorrow after some morning north sea muck!
  4. Nope, the storm/downpour shield in full operation it's sliding west of us, as always.
  5. You have to be kidding me  I swear in the same way Shropshire has a sun shield, you guys have a heat dome  20c max here, a truly dark and miserable day with not even one break in the clouds!, thundery looking skies all day but mostly dry until around half 4, raining steadily again now. Thank goodness bar Tuesday it's finally looking much better next week, low 20's and plenty of sun..in fact I don't want to jinx it .
  6. I think I should after this month! the irony is that last night was yet another crystal clear night, warm to with a low of 16.0c! Yup it is indeed!
  7. I'm not gonna be a broken record and state this obvious again for here, i'll just leave you this picture instead
  8. Crystal clear skies now , if only the next 12 hours of weather had been 12 hours earlier or later.
  9. Can't see anything from here? though the woods is directly to the north of here so never can, relieved there's FINALLY blue sky moving up from the south though at long last!!!
  10. I'm not fooled by the nice Sunday/Monday the charts are showing either, the reality may well be a north sea muck fest.
  11. Finally some brighter skies now after the usual start Just hoping we get some long spells of sunshine this afternoon as this is potentially our last shot of decent weather (21c+ and spells of sunshine) for the rest of the summer. Update: Ended up staying like this ^^^ in the end.
  12. Ended up with 2 minutes of sunshine total today around 3pm, that was it, stayed dull and bleak after. Tomorrow on the face of it looks much better after another grey morning, we shall see..
  13. it's actually already back to the thick dark cloud again now, no shocks there. Spits and spots of rain thrown in now to for good measure.
  14. Spot the difference from this morning And yep you guessed it stuck bang on 18c, the favourite temperature it seems this month on days forecast to be 21c+.
  15. What an absolute load of garbage! Dark, thick cloud, occasional drizzle here with not one glimmer of improvement yet practically clear skies just down the road!! You'd think considering the wind direction there would be a fohn effect with some sunshine breaking through but nothing, as you can see.
  16. Slightly less cool last night, good long spells of sunshine through this morning though mostly cloudy from 12-5pm (overcast from 2-3pm, around 70-90% coverage rest of the time) then increasingly sunny after that, currently fairly clear although some mid/high level cloud. Min: 12.3c Max: 21.1c Currently: 14.9c, Clear Spells, WSW 4mph Rain: 0.0mm
  17. Both the GFS and especially UKMO have now moved Friday's low a good amount further west at the price of downgrading Thursday's temperatures by a good 4 or 5 degrees from this mornings run's due to low cloud, Scandi Block also ever so slightly west of this mornings runs. In fact the UKMO takes the low up over Iceland with the Scandi high ridging with the Azores high for Saturday.
  18. Oh..suddenly down to 21/22c for Thursday on the 12z with low cloud UKMO miles better than this morning with the warmth actually building through Friday AND Saturday!! but considering how messy the models are at the moment can only go up to 48hrs ahead, and the short frame continues to suggest this front is going to sit over here and die a slow cloudy death. Today's been admittedly decent at 21c with some sunny spells, not particularly long spells of sun but still vast improvements on the usual Tuesday gloom.
  19. Yup September's always better than August these days here, and no shocks the 06z dreamland would prove that correct yet again! Still might squeeze a 26c day Thursday providing the grot clears back north early enough, rather damp (for here) tomorrow and Friday however.
  20. Much improved on yesterday at least thus far, sunny spells and 20.6c.
  21. No shocks as usual just 18c here and cloudy most of the day  a recurring theme it seems this month. Really disappointed with the downgrades, looks like a damp grey day Wednesday here while the rest of the Midlands sit's in the mid 20's and Friday's low swanning in to spoil the fun, so that leaves what? Thursday?? for decent weather here and even that dependent on whether Wednesday's murk can push back north, admittedly I got excited again this morning seeing the 06z silly me as now all the charts have backed off the warm plume and show a southerly tracking low, still a glimmer of hope things could change for the better again but I suspect the JMA is actually on the money.
  22. 2011 was the most major for here with 1st October being hottest day at 28c! even more notable that the summer itself had a max of 26.3c here!. Both last year and 2010 also had the warmest days of the year in May here to at 27c.
  23. Echo this! I've lost count of the amount of days in the past 2 weeks the GFS and BBC have forecast 20c+ and sunny spells the day before which have turned out grey and 17-18c, today being yet another with the disappointment set to continue here tomorrow and Wednesday while the rest of the Midlands climbs toward the mid 20's.
  24. Yes another decent day, similar to Friday though slightly cooler with a max of 19.9c. A pleasantly warm week on the cards though i'd say 30c is out of the question with the downgrades today, still should be very nice though providing that spoiler low on Wednesday and Friday's storm both stay out the way.
