  1. Overnight low was 14.2c in the end, temperatures already soaring upwards this morning, 21.1c already though feeling a little less humid than yesterday.
  2. Much less humid again now, 20.5c, xcweather showing that Cheshire Gap breeze again but very calm at the minute.
  3. 26.2c the max here today, certainly feels a heck of a lot warmer than yesterday evening without than NW Cheshire Gap breeze to cool us off, 24.7c still.
  4. Overnight low of 11.2c in the end, glorious sunny warm morning, 20c at the moment though despite higher dewpoints feeling less humid than yesterday.
  5. Incredible 18z for next weekend (and beyond), 30c possible if that came off! In the meantime surprised just how cool this evening's gone, down to 14.9c now and 14.4c at Shawbury!
  6. Can't stand them, got woken up at 5am by a fly landing on my eye this morning and the little bugger kept landing on my face over and over, could not get it out the room  Lovely and fresh out there now, 16.6c, hopefully this Cheshire Gap breeze keeps up.
  7. Got that Cheshire Gap breeze now here which we sometimes get in warm spells, as you can see on the wind map. http://www.xcweather.co.uk/ Brought a much less humid, fresher feel in, dropped to 19.9c now from 24.5c at 7pm.
  8. Just come back in for dinner, really is feeling lovely and scorching out there today, glad I never bothered with the beach, the Telford cloud has found it's home there it seems Perfect GFS this morning, hot and sunny next few days, then cools off a little mid week to allow a bit of refreshment before the heat rebuilds rapidly into Friday/Saturday. 23.1c already btw, on par with yesterday's max, first 25c of the year this afternoon?
  9. Gorgeous morning, got nice and cool again last night, 10.3c the low, already double that almost though now at 20.5c!, gonna be scorcher
  10. 23.1c the max today, VERY hazy this morning and evening, was decent through the afternoon though, hopefully blue skies tomorrow.
  11. Glorious day today, very hazy yes but warmest day of the year maxing at 23.3c, continuing now until Tuesday/Wednesday at least.
  12. 16.1c at the moment, got fairly cool last night in the end with a low of 9.5c, surprised at just how hazy it is though this morning, was expecting blue skies? hopefully the haze will burn off.
  13. Yes 25/26c is the sweet spot for me, just heavenly, trend seems to be 22-24c widely tommorow with 25 in a few spots, 25-26c this weekend & Monday, 27/28c possible Tuesday and then a brief cool down Wednesday before heating up again, ECM a bit more dramatic for next Wednesday with cold front from the north but that's FI anyway and on the flip side there's charts like this which would bring 28c+ http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Rnvg1442.gif UV indexes between 6 and 7 next few days, best spell of weather temperature wise since (ironically) Late Sept/Early Oct 2011.
  14. Not sure yet, somewhere with a nice sandy beach ideally aha! 12z springs up out of nowhere the risk of an isolated storm, might be worth keeping an eye on! http://www.wetterzentrale.de/pics/Rmgfs783.gif
  15. Glorious afternoon with some good sunny spells, maxed at 20.5c but felt warmer than that with the humidity. Anyone know what it's going to be like along West Coast of Wales this weekend, was planning on going camping to the beach but the forecasts seem to show mist all weekend.
  16. It's certainly going to be quite the shock to the system even on Friday here as 21.6c on 7th May, and 21.4c on 7th June remain the warmest values recorded here thus far this year. Today hopefully the last sub 20c day for quite some time, 16.2c ended up being the max in the end, 12z still holding firm at 126hrs, here's hoping for another run like that cracking 06z.
  17. 06z is the best run since July 2006, incredible charts. In the meantime business as usual continuing for the moment though feels quite warm & humid despite being only 16.2c.
  18. Nice little upgrade on the 18z showing the high ridging into Scandi more which is what we want to see (rather than the ECM), the further east the better/higher risk of storms in the long run.
  19. Sounds/feels much stronger than that though! still dodged all rain thus far however. July 2006 remains the ultimate summer month for here heat wise, I remember the 4th July evening lightning storm well, it never rained and barely thundered but the lightning went on all evening and well after sunset, if only I still had the pictures.
  20. Charts backtracked to heat again this morning thank goodness, ECM being the best of the bunch. In the meantime it's howling a gale and grey but still dry thus far, chilly though at 14.4c
  21. Yeh at 192 hours as usual, way out of the reliable timeframe, 29c was shown for Saturday to before. People can say i'm throwing the toys out already all they want but i'm just stating facts.
  22. Yup downgrades have begun already today, Scotland/Northern Ireland now wet and windy Saturday, every run further and further south, just hope it doesn't continue, surely the Telford Sun Shield can't strike again, i'm starting to get worried now.
  23. I see the downgrades are digging in now for the heatwave slowly but surely, i'd be seething with rage if I lived in Scotland/Northern Ireland, if it continues once again it will turn into South East takes all after a nice Friday.
  24. Bright and breezy now with the odd brief bit of sunshine though positively October like at 15.4c, tommorow looks even cooler with the rain though its all uphill after that, finally!
  25. Perfection charts have shockingly remained this morning, UKMO & ECM being the leaders with the potential for 28c+, going to be quite the shock to the system considering we've yet to surpass the 21.6c on May 7th yet! In the meantime, business as usual today, cold grey and the odd spot of rain in the air.
