  1. Warm and pleasant today, again a fair bit of cloud but with much more sun reached 22.5c, stayed warm this evening and increasingly humid now.
  2. Lovely long sunny spells now after a generally cloudy morning, 21.3c
  3. Been generally cloudy here to, not had a spell of sun longer than about a minute, in fact fairly threatening skies at the mo but no rain as of yet, tomorrow seems more promising though for longer spells of sun 'hopefully'.
  4. Some nice towers going up now, 20.5c at the mo though feeling warmer with the light winds.
  5. Almost overcast skies here all morning, you can see on the satellite how stubborn it is but sun breaking through slowly now, feeling a little warmer than yesterday, 19.2c at the mo.
  6. Unfortunately despite everything pointing at a nice warm day with long sunny spells it's been overcast thus far here and distinctly autumnal at 17c.
  7. Back from Cyprus now after a lovely week of 31-33c everyday, and no shocks returning to this atrocious weather, gusty winds and heavy rain most of the morning, hovering around 18c, does look decent rest of the week at least though!. So come on, did the Telford storm shield break while I was gone?
  8. Glad I didn't bother radar watching today, I see as usual all the excitement heading for the South East and it's just plain old rain here, another warm one though today, 24.5c max.
  9. Don't think i'm gonna bother radar/satellite watching today, already know by now the routine, lovely morning thus far, plenty of sun even with the haze, 25c this afternoon getting me in the mood for 30c+ tomorrow for the next week in Cyprus
  10. Much cloudier/hazier than expected today after a lovely clear start, pleasant at 21.3c though won't rise much further if this haze doesn't scoot.
  11. Feels pretty chilly here now despite being 19c still, lovely warm day tomorrow, 24/25c widely.
  12. Some good sunny spells this afternoon at times, very hazy again now but maxed at 24.5c. Should be longer spells of sunshine tomorrow, Saturday dependent on the washout's arrival time, doesn't seem like a thundery event to me but were see.
  13. Rather cloudy and muggy at the moment, there seems to be a scattering of quite small but potent showers breaking out now, up to 22.1c already so if the sun's not bothering to make much of an appearance today hopefully we can at least get a downpour.
  14. Decent day again today if a little on the cloudy side at times, maxed out just under 24c, looks like 26/27c possible widely across the region Saturday now, will be a nice pre holiday tan top up before Cyprus Sunday .
  15. After a dreary start it's turning increasingly sunny now from the South West, still fairly warm/humid, 20.6c with a 15c dewpoint.
  16. Glad i've not bothered radar watching today, knew it was always going to a North/East takes all event. Ended up rather warm again in the end today despite a lot of cloud, max of 24.7c, looks like the dry spell continues here, the torrential stuff stayed south east of here last night so not that much fell. Looks like it's pretty nice till I go on holiday Sunday now bar Thursday Morning, Friday/Saturday especially looking very warm at 25/26c with long spells of sunshine.
  17. What a miserable day it's been so far, very dull, very windy, no sunshine but on the warm side at 22.5c.
  18. No relent to this humidity today, 21.8c with a dewpoint of 19c now, still very misty/cloudy but signs of brightness.
  19. Well in the end that storm to the South East around 5am ended up being our lot, shame we never got any CG's or torrential rain from it as the core remained about 5-10 miles east of here but certainly got some loud thunder and near constant lightning for a while. Here's hoping the murk clears away now, deathly warm & humid last night, low was 18.5c in the end.
  20. All calm again now but every now and then another flash and boom.
  21. Miracles happening, incredibly frequent lightning and the loudest booms of thunder ever to the south east/east, not much rain to speak of but the thunder is really roaring away.
  22. Sat pathetically staring out the window the last 20 minutes in hope those cells would give at least one distant strike..nothing, no thunder either. Calling it a night now.
  23. I'm not excited over tomorrow, whatsoever, today was our 'big chance', high CAPE, the heat (its still 23c now with 19c dewpoint!!!!!! unheard of for here!!!) but not so much as even one tower of convection! and to top it off it's actually crystal clear now, even the haze is gone as the stars and moon are bright again
  24. Clear spells last night with a low of 15.0c but soon replaced by thick dreary mist again which took till after lunchtime to burn off, hazy sunshine after then with a max of 27.8c, incredibly warm and humid tonight though, currently 23.1c with a dewpoint of 19c!!!!
  25. Urgh given up now completely, clear hazy skies and the SW channel storms are fizzling into nothing, what makes it even more frustrating is the fact it's still 22.9c at this hour! with a dewpoint of 19c!!!!!!! PERFECT ingredients for it to go bang, but nothing
