  1. Is it over there too then, I’ve moved further away from Yarmouth now Jenny, halesworth now
  2. Blooming heck, loud 5 minute hail shower just passed through, grass is white
  3. Was not expecting to wake to a frost this morning, but car all frozen, grass pretty solid and icy pavements n roads. Seems a bit foggy too, well from what I could tell on a dark walk.
  4. So sick of this rain now, seems to have done nothing much but rain and be dull all month. Just want sunny and dry, don’t care how cold or if there’s any snow just stop bleeding raining!
  5. The squall line just passed, blink and you missed it. Two minutes heavy rain and a long, not very powerful gust of wind. Now some more blah yuk dull rain to come. Roll on tomorrow when allegedly, it shall be sunny n dry
  6. Ooooh so exciting, we have ickle flakes now shoot me I can’t take the excitement
  7. Not a single flake, still dry apart from the damp ground from the frost thaw
  8. Still dry here, frost slowly thawing, by the time anything gets here, it’ll be rain
  9. Frosty dry n cold but a pretty sunrise was nice on a walk this morning. Waiting for snow......
  10. Weather warning for snow here tomorrow! I will eat my wellies if that happens, are they having a joke with us?
  11. Nice dry cold and frosty start, always nice to have dry mud free dogs after a walk, unfortunately it looks like rain is almost upon us
  12. Well the good ol Beeb forecast is for, wait for it ...... sleet (at best) wooohooo meanwhile lovely sunset tonight after a cold but sunny day.
  13. Not sure, but that’s a possibility. Hair raising journey this morning, several trees down along A12, thankfully cleared by the time I did my return journey, saw a car completely smashed to pieces, police on scene, hope nobody was hurt. Slowly calming down here, just helped neighbour pull down what was left of her fence, thankfully we have some metal fencing between us, or my dogs would be having a lovely time in her garden
  14. Thought I was seeing things, was waiting for the inevitable loud bang of thunder but nothing came.
  15. Is anyone else seeing flashes of light? Twice now I’ve seen the sky light up. Neighbour fence has gone, she came round to tell me and that they are trying to stop it! I’ve told them to get inside, it’s too dangerous to try and sort it now. I’ll go round later once the wind has died down and help them. The noise sounds like the roof is coming in
  16. Holy moly, this is horrible, fences down (not mine.....yet) trees down, went for two minute dog walk, bad idea, stuff flying everywhere. Not sure if the drive to Lowestoft this morning will be possible, must be trees down blocking roads. Hope the worst is nearly over.
  17. Really quite windy this morning, don’t know how bad it’s supposed to get tonight/tomorrow, but if it’s already like this, not looking forward to it oh and of course, no snow here, nor frost.
  18. Lovely bright sunrise this morning and currently 3c with a bit of a breeze. Car even turned its own headlights off this morning, first time in weeks
  19. Horrendous out there this morning, absolutely soaked through walking the dogs, who in their wisdom decided was they heck gonna do their business in ‘this rain! Grrr, now to drive for an hour in it.
  20. Wait, what is that strange elusive yellow ball in the sky? Do my eyes deceive me, could it be the sun? Some dense fog patches along the A12 this morning, but it’s lifting and their is indeed some sunshine
  21. Another abysmal grotty day ahead, haven’t seen the sun in days, car headlights are on every time I go out, it’s always dark, I’m starting to understand the seasonal affected disorder people suffer from. Wet everywhere with light to heavy drizzle, I used to like winter, but this year it’s just depressing. I can live without snow, some cold but sunny days would be pleasant right now
  22. Assume a squall came through around 4am, woken by heavy rain and very noisy winds, only lasted about 10 minutes. Wind blew over the neighbours full bin, rubbish all over the place. Still very windy now, lots of small branches littering the pavements as I went for walk this morning and the river is close to bursting once more, only just returned to near normal levels over the last couple of days, hopefully not much more rain to come.
  23. Another throughly miserable day here, more rain and even though radar not showing it, still heavy drizzle now. Winds have also picked up in the last hour, the morning dog walk could be interesting, watching out for flying tree branches.
