  1. Yes @Ed Stone was indeed and still so hot for sleeping. The lightening off to the north n West was nice to see, but no real thunder except the odd rumble in the distance. Seems to be a line moving towards us from the south west this morning, but think it’s fading before reaching us
  2. Well disappointed by the rain we barely got and it’s still warm and humid this morning. So much for fresher conditions
  3. Couple of rumbles, lightening away to the west, bit of drizzle! Come on we need more than that! Still hot n humid.
  4. Still 30c over here in the Suffolk desert, triangle of doom keeping the heat in cloud to the west, still blue skies to the south.
  5. It’s cooler there now? Still baking here, sun still shining, with little cloud. Blow the cooler air this way please ?️
  6. @Soaring Hawk good walks over the millennium green, which is bone dry presently! No water left anywhere for the farmers cows. It definitely feels more humid today and temps are higher, darent actually walk the dogs this evening, been going late but temps aren’t dropping here at all yet. Desperate for the cold front. I too shall dance in the rain if it ever gets here, that’ll scare my neighbours
  7. It’s not coming this way I feel like I’m burning from the inside out. can’t take this anymore
  8. Lightening radar showing strikes going off west of Norwich, too far north damnit, clouds slowly building now.
  9. I’m a couple miles down the road from Bungay, halesworth to be exact and I can’t confirm temps as I don’t have a thermometer but it is chuffing hot n humid and indeed not a drop of rain last night or any day since May! Praying for rain n storms later to clear this heat, even if only by a few degrees.
  10. Is there any chance of some rain/storm over Suffolk way today? I can see the line way west of us! We need some relief from this horrendous heat, or are we going to keep suffering, as the met and Beeb still going for 27c here tomorrow, which isn’t cooler and fresher as far as I’m concerned! Please let us have some cooler air ?️
  11. Quite misty here first thing, but sun wins already. Dont expect we will see any rain today. Not a single storm in these parts this year, boring sun and heat is no fun without the storms to break it up.
  12. Rain showing on radar to my NW, near Bungay area, clouds are building, come on rain, you can do it, just a bit more this way.....
  13. Thoroughly cruddy morning, grey clouds and light to heavy drizzley rain. Was hoping to miss any rain, dog walking has been great the last few weeks with no muddy smelly dogs to bring home. I’d rather the light cloud with the sun coming through by afternoon, if this is what we’ve got coming over the next few days, the west wind can booger off.
  14. Any rain Ed? Still not a drop here. Poor cat patio doors wide open, dog a puddle of drool on floor, not humid here at all, quite cool in fact.
  15. First rumble I wasn’t sure either, second definitely as dogs went loco. No rain either even though radar showing it. Looks to be building out at sea though.
  16. Thunder in Halesworth, bout time we got nowt last night. No lightening though.
  17. WE HAVE SUN...... finally arrived an hour ago, sitting in garden soaking up some vitamin D..... it might not come back for months
  18. No sun here, murky cloudy crud again. Sun has been pushed back til Monday here according to Beeb forecast this morning. I’m beginning to think it’s never coming out over this way ever again
  19. Indeed it poked through the clouds for about 2 minutes, but gone dull and misty again
  20. So part of the storm forecast has made me chuckle allowing clear skies with some warm sunshine to develop across southern counties of England, which will trigger heavy showers with thunder. Further rain, perhaps thundery, over the Low Countries looks to affect far SE and East Anglia overnight. If we get any sunshine it’ll be a miracle! Dull damp, misty crud for yet another day here, sunshine hasn’t been here for what seems like an eternity.
  21. River has completely burst its banks all around here, fields are completely submerged, paths under water up to the knees, two days of non stop, often torrential rain. Spoken to people who have lived here for years have never seen it so bad. The path between myself and neighbour was so bad this morning, the drain cover had come off and was floating around! We really need some dry weather, which doesn’t look to be coming anytime soon. Gonna need an ark at this rate
