Why whats going on, another failed snowmaggedon.
A few people upset, that the ECM is showing easterly winds and bringing rain to their areas.

EC 12Z wild guess! the Atlantic will be in charge 192-240! hopefully just milder week to 10 days, and cold will arrive around 15th
Tell us why you think this ??
post a chat from the time period 192-240 and give us your a analysis why you think the ECM 12z will be Atlantic driven for that time period

Big issue we lose most of the ridge that was "better" on this run though we do still remain cold because of the slack winds and the jet still being quite amplified
With me though it doesn't give any hope in regards to longevity
Do you ever take a day off.
post some chats to back your claims up.

Is this the main course or just the starter as looking at the radar there’s nothing much behind when it clearers eastwards in the next hour or so.
i was under the impression that the heavy band was due in the early hours so not giving up on white conditions when it comes light in the morning.
Looking at the Radar, looks like that’s all till the early hours.
hopefully the temps can drop a bit more.

Hi Snowray.
unfortunately we have the Irish Sea on our doorstep. We’ve had -8 uppers and winds from the North West and only seen sleet.
I'm sure other members from the North West will tell you that the Irish Sea is a complete pain.- 1

Its pretty much rained for 2 days here and i don't mean drizzle.
And this on the back of a very wet Autumn.
Another Dec ruined by low after low, after low.
Today has been absolutely vile. It’s rained solid now for over 24 hours. No weather warning from the MetO, absolute nothing.
like you said on the regional thread, enough is enough now. I’m sick to the back teeth of the constant rainfall we’ve had.- 1

Absolute vile day.. heavy persistent rain all day.
sick to the back teeth of it.
