Get the cold in first. Anything can crop up at any moment. Late November bring any memories back ? Last chart I checked, the colder air was over both our regions.

Spot on. It’s been on the cards for the last few days.. unless we can get shot of these heights to the south, it’s pretty much game over… the low is just going to barrel through us and not slide

Once again, heights over Iberia are now becoming a player.
last week the jet stream was vacating in North Africa.. now its running through Northern France.

And you must have a short memory...there was a good cold snap around this time last year for nigh on 2 weeks..and snow fell heavily on several occasions!
Some on here need to keep there emotions in check and at least wait for a run to end...because trust me it can end up making you look rather daft!

I’m not the worlds best at reading charts. But for me, I can see the problem being heights over Iberia becoming an issue.

Agree with you. I find the showers from the east, start to fizzle out in the Bolton area. Those west of Bolton, ie, Wigan, must feel very frustrated.
