With the dewpoints being as low as they are, does that mean it's officially 'too cold for snow'? Over the years, people have said that, but I've never known why, or where that saying came from -
Just got to hope the front reaches us - can you imagine the disapointment waking up Sunday morning, pulling the curtains back and it being bone dry? Doesn't bear thinking about actually!

Seriously looking forward to the prospects this weekend! Does anyone think there is a chance of any Kent or Thames streamers setting up to add to the fun?

From what I can gather, the cold stays with us lot in the SE for the weekend, so there is every chance we will get snow, as opposed to rain/sleet. However, the weekend at this stage is classed as FI, so just take every day as it comes is my moto!

I did that a few years ago - instant ice = big mistake!

I'm enjoying it - it means not having to spend time scraping ice off the car in the mornings!

Blimey, you lot have been busy, 13 pages since I was last on line around 2pm this afternoon! What's the general mood of the thread? Prozac or Euphoria? I've just see the BBC weather forecast from John Hammond, so can only hope you see the the glass as half full, as opposed to half empty!

I think it's the swear filter - we all know what F F S stands for, but the filter changes it... Hopefully this will make sense!

Oh I'm not happy, in fact I'm quite sad people, it's just the weather! Have you or someone close to you been diagnosed with a terminal disease? Or are you lucky enough to be here for the see able future? If yes, then chin up, there is every chance you will be here to witness snow again. Put the knives and prozac away - in the grand scheme of things, it isnt the end of the world. Honestly.

Just got very light snizzle here in Bexleyheath. Bit of a depressing day weather wise - raw, grey and damp. Could do with seeing the sun for a bit before it gets dark!
