Bit disappointed the snowflakes are of the dandruff variety - seems ages for it to make any impact cover wise. That said, I am grateful it's snowing!

Have faith Paul - thats how it started here, and it was like that for a good 1 and a half hours - however, it does start to get heavier - considering it started to snow here in Bexleyheath 2.5 hours ago, we only have a small covering - 0.5cm MAX

I'll be staring part 5 (yes, part 5, without a snowflake falling in this region :o ) in a moment folks

From what I can gather, its honestly all down to 'now casting'. Yes, the models may say one scenario, the Met Office say another, the BBC forecast another, the more knowledgeable members of NW yet another scenario. None of which will be correct until after Saturday Night/Sunday Morning. Stay positive, its looking likely (atm) that we should all see some snow. It seems to be amounts that is posing the problems (and that is down to now casting during the course of Saturday Night, no matter what the models 'predict')
