    Might as well just put a 100% severe storm risk on Birmingham and the like today. What’s the point of even speculating the risk there and where the storms will be

    probably true. I can’t even be bothered to be optimistic at this point honestly. It’s the same theme throughout this whole summer. North and West for every single event. I’d love to know why it has been those areas that have seen all of the severe storms this year. So unusual.

    Is the SE in any sort of risk for tomorrow? Things are starting to once again shy away from activity further east and showing storms across the north and west, again . And those french imports aren’t looking good for tomorrow night either now especially with UKV and AROME. If this heatwave doesn’t go out with a bang for us in the SE then it’s time for Winter to arrive and 2020 to be over with, a year where everything has been turned upside down.

    I can’t see the cell anymore as it’s gone behind the trees. Strangely it looks like it’s moving NNE and not NNW?

    Think that’s the East Grinstead cell direct south of me. Looks like it could become beefy

    I’m not gonna lie I think BBC may be right today for London at least... their forecast was showing an isolated heavy shower/storm in the London area around 4pm today and it’s looking like this East Grinstead cell might be that one

    The south London cumulus field is growing quite fast

    I’ll tell you that looks reminiscent of 24th of July’s event last year but more intense in the east.

    Wow now let’s pray for consistency on this and hope it actually happens. The southeast needs to go out with a bang, it’s been the melting pot for nearly a week
