  1. Quite enjoying watching the distant flickering all the way from south London ????
  2. Oh I don’t know, wasn’t paying attention just heard them but I think possibly west too
  3. Well I can officially say the heatwave has gone out with a bang now. Someone just set off a bunch of fireworks randomly which only lasted 10 seconds
  4. I’m looking on the windy.com radar and it looks like a northwest movement now.
  5. Very intense cell just formed in the channel further east of the MCS
  6. The fact that the mcs is intensifying somewhat, in terms of new cells with ppn, over the channel is interesting. Saw some sferics on the leading edge as well
  7. However with the french MCS at the moment, as expected, all lightning activity is hugging the french coast
  8. Yep these cells firing up ahead of the MCS are interesting
  9. Blimey the cloud from the french mcs is almost touching the storm clouds over central England
  10. We’ve still got Thursday/Friday with an even greater focus on the south and then an event potentially coming up from the south on Sunday into Monday
  11. Awaiting the next run, but looking back at EC there seems to be a much bigger focus on the SE for heavy showers/storms from tomorrow onwards.
  12. This has been the theme for much of this summer. I think this route needs a name.
  13. Yes I agree it should travel into the midlands and sit there tomorrow and let other areas breed the storms
  14. I have a concern that all the leftover cloud/wet mess from the French MCS will drift across the south and delay convection for tomorrow if it lingers. Hopefully it dissipates and buggers off fast if it does.
