Kent, East London, Essex,Suffolk and EA place to be if any of these showers perform a clap ? or two -
If any of these showers warrant a decent thunderstorm. London East, Kent, Essex, EA and the North Sea see the best chance. Expecting just rain here as always. Been years since a forecasted torrential thunderstorm produced more than one clap of thunder. Tonight’s no different.

Beautiful day here, clear blue skies and temps hit 28c As a Londoner before moving to Bedfordshire I don’t class today as hot. 32c+ is hot. But no doubt would have been classed as hot north of Birmingham. -
A dry Ish week ahead, enough for the bogged ground to get a good dry out. Hoping for a boiling hot dry summer before the 2021 autumn rains flood in.

After a couple hours of light/moderate snow flurries this morning it’s now pretty much blue skys with fair weather cloud. A lovely afternoon out of the wind and shade, that April sun sure has some strength

Arrived back home from Canada last night visiting family. coming from -15c to +15c feels like a spring day In Spain here. The warmth here is very noticeable A anticyclonic spell on the way with dry conditions, much needed for the bogged waterlogged ground.

Yes I’m under the precip with heavy echoes but just snowing here very very lightly, just flakes blowing around in the wind. Of course if it were rain it would be pouring down right now.

Started to snow here. Albeit very lightly

Puddles in the road splashing from oncoming traffic and freezing on impact hitting objects above ground causing icicle effect. Loads of it around here on every flood prone road.

Friend in Kidlington, Oxford has just messaged me it’s snowing lightly. That ppn out west sure does have an aggressive movement east considering the blocking cold.

Cousin in Romford says it’s snowing with no accumulation We need the likes of the heavy showers intensity from Lincs northwards or pushing into Scotland to get going down here.

All the powder snow of yesterday has but disappeared. It’s damn cold for sure but the constant heavy rains and water logged ground has won this round.

Similar to the pics my mate sent me in Munster Germany. Meanwhile over here = 5cm is chaos. Slow old thaw here today with temps hovering around freezing with some decent sunny spells. A break from the rain at least.
