    Fingers crossed @Jason T Except they are not dealing with a raging Atlantic knocking left and a warm Gulf Stream. Hopes for a second half of January for us ??

    Nice to feel a bit like winter today. Models looking awful if it’s ‘cold n snow’ you’re after. Euro fat blown high or zonal. Fingers and toes crossed for a good snowy spell for our region come late Jan/early Feb.

    A Lake District northwards/Scotland chance for anything white Christmas Day. Chances elsewhere in Northern England if at all. Cold rain Manchester south. ECM 12 firming up on that idea

    Rough, grey, damp and cold day here today. Bit of rain, bit of wind over next 48 hours. Nothing unusual. Hope it goes snowy into January or second best; Cold and dry.

    Same here, under the pink’ on net weather radar, but bone dry. Dry air cancelling out radar data

    Confident the ppn should be wintry given the time of day it moves into Western Areas of the region. Areas west of Aylesbury, should at least see falling snow if it maintains intensity. Sadly although my location (Bedford) is West of region will probably just be light rain/drizzle if it all, catching the edge as it passes south.

    Makes you realise how boring our weather is compared to others across the pond. At least they get proper seasonal weather. Temps 30c+ on eastern seaboard right now, before autumn rains and winter snow kicks in. Uk= Cloud in summer, rain in winter. 1 day of 30c ~ it’s to hot

    5 minute rain shower late morning. Been dry all afternoon and some good decent sunshine in between the cloud. Very decent day in the sunshine

    30c here now in central Beds. Beautiful weather, I have a fan so I just stand in front of it for 2 minutes if I get hot. you lot should try it sometime Making the most of it before a no doubt wash out August.

    Back from spain 2 days ago. 37c + there for days. Not that’s what you call hot. Very nice to come home to decent weather, temp up to 31c forecast in Bedfordshire today and 32c in London. Lovely jubbly... making the most of it before the usual crud U.K. weather sets back in.

    Feels like a wet November day here. Chucking it down all day with temps of 12c no thunder, no storm activity Revolting. Roll on the dry weather tomorrow

    Light rain here with everything heavier going way East. east Kent and coastal Essex, Suffolk, East Anglia in with a chance to here a rumble ...

    My take on this a few hours ago. London West expect rain of course but nothing out of the ordinary. Those further east may get to hear a rumble or 5 and see a flash if they don’t blink.

    Some good Radar Echoes of Kent coast now. the rest is just heavy rain... well that was obvious. A few boats in North Sea May see a flash or two Maidstone and futher east.. hold your hats. May if you’re lucky hear a thunder sound

    A definite push of ppn ENE. Looks like those in East of region could get drenched by rain (thunderstorm activity..? Who knows) Areas West of London could come unscathed at least during next 24hrs bar the odd bog standard heavy rain showers
