    Models have between 10-1 as the peak for your area, but yes I think the terrain is likely limiting your gust speeds which models aren't the best at simulating.

    1-3AM looks like the peak in Scotland per latest modelling, expect widespread very high gusts during this period.

    Models do seem to differ on the wind arrival times, ICON doesn't have notable winds arriving until 7PM for your area, check out Rafales 1H chart here.     UKV 12z has it peaking from 8-10PM in Central South and South East regions, Amber warning doesn't come into effect until 6PM.
