Lovely sunny day with light cloud but much cooler with only a high of 11C and now down to 8C already having had a lovely sunset.

Slight frost this morning after a low of 2C. Minor grass frost and some on the cars.

Slightly gloomy now after sunshine earlier. Little bit og grass frost in the corner of the garden adn a bit on the cars which has already melted. 3C

Was there any thunder or lightning? There were plenty of road rivers in Bristol and that area.

July 1999 was a long dry period and so was July 1990. If you have anymore - please tell us about them.

Clear and cold. Now down to 5C and looks like a minimum of 1C tongith so like so many others, perhaps the first frost of this season.

Going by what my Granddad says, he couldn't get out of the house on Christmas because there was three feet of lying snow after four days of blizzard! I'm waiting for that to come.

If you report any big heavy showers today then report them here. Had some torrential rain, hail and thunder at 5am this morning. Currently watching the radar.

Quite a nice day after some showers earlier on. Don't whether any of you heard it but at 5.00 this morning there was a huge band of thunder and one hell of a downpour. Amazing but no lightning. Currently sunny, light cloud at 9C after a low of 5C.

Dull, cloudy, cool, windy, drizzly, murky and brrr but not horrible! Highest temperature 14C after a low of 4C at midnight last night.

Crisp and cold at 5C with a a half moon hanging lazily behind a thin layer of hazy high cloud.

Had some heavy showers between 6 and 8 this morning leaving part of the morning rather dull and cloudy but after 9.30 it cleared and it has been a beautiful, clear sunnny and cold day with a high of only 12C. Got down to 4C overnight.

Was a mostly cloudy day after some sun early on but mostly dry until 16.00. It was heaving it down for an hour after 16.00 with very big drops falling in sheets followed by more persistent rain which has stopped a few minutes ago now. Got up to 14C just today but now down to 10C.
