Been raining for 15 minutes - lightly - and strengthening winds to 38MPH now, occasionally 42MPH. Expecting higher than that tonight. Current temperature still mild at 12C.
Cool, dry and cloudy but windy now with the strongest gust so far at 32MPH. I would expect it to be cooler but there is obviously some warm air pool ahead of the main front. Rain is expected by 11 tonight and the temperature has only dipped to 15C.
Light rain overnight amounting to 3mm Mostly sunny today with two very lgith showers amounting to 0.5mm Currently cloudy and cool now with a shower to the south and north. None over here! 13C
Lovely day here so far with warm sunshine but starting to cloud over from the southwest and west. Temperature at the moment is 18C after 19C half an hour ago.
Currently under a blanket of cirrus so the temperature is slightly up on yesterday at 11C. Had a lovely day in Birmingham with sunny skies all day and warm at 20C. No tornado though.
Sunnyand clear despite thick mist on the moors. Colder than yesterday - obviously - it's still only 10C! I'm going to Birmingham today on a school trip so I wonder if I will see any remains of the tornado.
It's been a lovely late summer day today - in fact - the last day of summer. There were sunny skies all afternoon with a high of 20C. Looks like there are two more fine days to come. Good for some but not for the gardens.
I agree with you. The BBC said a cloudy start would give way to plentiful autumn sunshine. It was a cloudy start alright but no sun has made an appearance. At least it isn't overly cold with a high earlier of 18C.
Don't get too excited. Autumn has to come first and usually wwe get wet and windy weather before December or in December. Anyway, it has been glorious and sunny here all day. It has now cooled down to 14C after a high of 18C. Cold night coming up.
