Why do we go to the sales? It's always packed and full of c*** that they didn't manage to sell before xmas We went but ended up buying Tilly's birthday pressie at full price
Why do people stop dead in front of you for no reason
And why, oh why do people pull out in their cars at the last minute, when there is a good gap behind you, only to go at 30mph
Oh well, makes for a more "interesting" world

Last night was little fella's school production/nativity
Little fella was an angel (cow last year) he was up front and surrounded by the only girls in his class (he's a bit of a catch it seems )
Both little peeps were tired and Tilly decided to make her mark on the program

Princess Tilly has decided that she is not going to be the perfect child and wake up post 1pm : We think she is cold but it's hard to work out what the problem is
We have done the Santa run over to East Sussex this weekend and I am very, very tired
Hubbie announced that he wants to take up Wind surfing ok, my ambitions are learning to play the flute

Today I found the perfect alternative to hairgel.......Fish fingers Princess Tilly was trying to eat some bits of fish finger and kept missing her mouth and hitting her forehead. Anyway, in the bath her hair was stuck up Cameron Diaz
Went to Sidmouth today and boy they must have had a wild night last night. Lots of shingle across the road and loads of big branches down apparently Budleigh Salterton (not far away) is still without electricity
What else, oh found out at 7.30pm that I was expected to make some cakes for the school's association, so made some choccie brownies
Oops, forgot to mention the nutters at Sidmouth Surfin I think a few of the North Devon surfer came down to catch the action (nutters )

I've had to spend the day with my mum and little fella, between the two they never stop talking
I've helped sort out her bedroom, Immelda Marcos would be jealous She ended up getting sidetracked so I have to be a bit forceful and tell her to finish a room I think she was a bit shocked that I was being so........

Back in May we had an offer accepted on a house in the town I now live in.
We've been at their beck and call ever since and now they have decided to take the house off the market. The fact we have been stressed to get a valuation, searches etc really naffs me off
Oh well, what goes around comes around and they will suffer for their decissions
Back to looking in the paper etc for new house

Ha, thought I would get your attention
We have finally taken the plunge and bought a 32" Sony LCD TV. Our previous TV was only 21" so it's like being at the cinema at the mo

Princess Tilly decided to do her first bit of crawling on Friday (hubbie's birthday) since then she has progressed with a frightening speed and will soon be causing havoc
Went out for a meal last night (hubbie's birthday) drove into the countryside to a v nice pub but couldn't get a table Just as well, as we parked hubbie asked if I could hear a hissing noise  He thought it was just the brakes getting warm then wet.
This morning woke up to a very flat tyre
Hubbie spent the next 20 mins changing the tyre while I......................had a cup of tea If I had a flat tyre I would have to call the AA
Today we had a 2nd (outside) look at a house. Finger's crossed this might be the one

Well, we might have a house lined up but they are taking sooooooooooooooooooo long we are now looking elsewhere.
I hate looking for houses, it's a pain in the bu**
I just want a permanent home............perferably before xmas

Well not me but my brother last week (one side of London to the other) and now my mum from Yorkshire to Tiverton, Devon.
I've resigned myself to the fact we are probably going to spend xmas in our little rented house On a plus point, we ordered a 32" Sony LCD TV yesterday and I bought a groovy DVD/CD/DAB audio super woofer thingy (The selling point for me was the fact it lights up blue but changes to green if you press a button  ) Hubby has read the manual from cover to end and knows all the features
Otherwise, life is busy. I'm working full time, which is not my choice but I have an interview tomorrow which has the posibility of being a bit more flexible/work-life balanced

Last night was little fella's 1st School disco. Now he is usually the most outgoing chap but I spend 99% of the time trying to stop him hanging onto me all the time (he said it was "too loud") In the end I had to give Princess Tilly her bedtime milk so he had to fend for himself. Next thing I know he is almost to the final of Musical Statues (a remarkable achievement for him....to keep still)
He had lots of girls running up to him asking for him by name
  12. Cakie
I like to be busy, strange to spme but the worst thing you can do to me is not give me anything to do.................today was that day

Today we finally completed on the sale of our house
It's been a stressful time but hopefully my bank balance is going to look very healthy tomorrow
We are still waiting to buy a house, the vendor's have just pulled out of their latest purchase and after 6 months waiting for them to sort themselves out is starting to annoy me <_<
Other than that, little people are enjoying their time with the childminder whilst I enjoy the delights of my Tango Quango that I am currently employed by
p.s. I managed to get hubbie a tax rebate today.....how do you think he should repay me
  14. Cakie
Well today was the first day at work for almost a year It was very strange and seriously boring
I really missed little people but was disappointed to find out that they did not really miss me <_<

Today we mostly got wet
Went to a place called Bicton Park, Botanical gardens, miniture railway etc. Would have been great had it not been tippin down
Princess Tilly has decided that after months of sleeping all night that 5am is the right time to wake up I hope she grows out of it very soon
Other than that, we have MIL staying, not a bad thing as I get on really well with her I am starting a temp/perm job on Wednesday, which is freaking me a little bit (almost a year since I was at work <_< ) I'm sure little people will be fine, it will be me that is upset

Well I have been having lots of interviews recently, mainly with agents
Question - How do you know when an agent is lying......his lips move <_<
I have a job offer but it's temporary and I need to get back into the NHS if I can. Went for an interview today for an NHS job and fingers crossed it went ok
Tonight I went to the School's association meeting (in the pub  ) I have agreed to be secretary (in a moment of madness ) but it's helping me get a few connections with mums
Tomorrow is checking out a possible childminder, how do you assess these things? Gut feeling seems to be my answer

I have been really happy since we moved down to Devon. On the whole everyone has been really friendly.................until today
The house we are renting has a garage (stuffed full of the bits we can't fit into our small house), a drive and a parking space in the garden.
When hubbie looked at the house he thought we would be allowed to use said parking space but the landlord put a padlock on the gate so we can't <_<
Hubbie parks his car on the drive (it's bigger than mine ) and I park my car outside our house on the road. The people across the road have a garage and drive but choose to park next to our house. I'm not too bothered about this, so long as I can park my car as well.
Tonight I arrived back from school with little people. I opened the door for little fella to be shouted at from the neighbour's window "can you not park outside MY house", "my husband can't park his car", "you can fit 2 cars on your drive" She got really abusive but I just replied that we can't fit 2 cars on our drive (she can)
Now I parked on the opposite side of the road from her house (there were cars near our door), the guy next door to her parks there all the time rather than walk the 20 seconds to his drive Little fella is now really scared to go outside because of the "nasty woman shouting  "
I'm looking forward to moving to our permenant house
    OMG............it's Friday the 13th

Well we are down in the new "temporary" house, awaiting completion on the house we want to buy
Little fella is loving school but seriously tired  and I am looking for jobs with gusto
Had the local health visitor round today and she was the usual doom/gloom merchant on post natal depression (yep that's me :o ) They don't seem to take into consideration my circumstances i.e. moving down to Cheltenham only for the company to go belly up and hubbie have to work away for 6 months while I bring up 2 kids on my own  plus my kidney problems that they seem to forget
Hey ho, Looking forward to getting some friends and enjoying the more relaxed lifestyle of Devon
  19. Cakie
We are in the process of moving at the mo
I have not wanted to advertise the fact but for the last 6 months hubbie has been working down in Devon during the week and I've been a "single parent" weekdays :o It's been very stressful and very tiring for us both.
We have almost sold the house (completion pending) but needed to rent before we can buy the house we want, so have rented slightly early so that little fella can start school down there.
I was suprised how emotional I got when little fella went into school for the first time. He was fine but I had to go into his classroom to 'reassure' him  (my benefit not his )
Spent the weekend packing boxes and stressing out but the good thing is that I have someone to talk to (excluding my NW pals) on an evening

This morning we were invaded with little people
I kept saying to various mums to come round but didn't expect them all to turn up on the same day
It was really nice, if a bit manic They were all really worried that their children had made a mess but it took me 5 mins to clear up after they had gone
The afternoon was a bit worrying with the Chemical blast down the road
We are busy packing for the move down South (again)

Today we did a car boot sale and raise a bit of cash from our old stuff
It was mostly bits and bobs we not prepared to take with us to Devon. We had two big clear outs last year, prior to moving to Cheltenham but there were still a few things to get rid of.
Princess Tilly is a bit better but still snotty
Little fella has enjoyed his week of total attention from Grandma and is slowly working his way back to normal life (where he is not the centre of the universe  )
On the way back from granny's we went through the Ashdown Forest. Lots of sheep on the road to avoid and so I managed to avoid them  Went over the cattle grid (to keep the sheep/cows in) and thought about picking my speed up from 30mph.
All of a sudden 4 teenage stags jumped down from the embankment and charged across the road feet in front of me  Thankfully I stopped in time, otherwise the car would have had a few dints in it
On the way back we stopped at ASDA High Wycombe to get a few bits and bobs. Usually in these shops you get a monotone annoucement about some offer they have instore. Here they had a incredibly Jamacian woman telling you that there were some "fantastic reductions in the bakery dept" I think that was what she said as the only 2 words I could understand were "Bakery" and "10 pence"
All power to the woman though, she was so passionate about it

Last night I had a very bad night with Princess Tilly
I'm not sure what the problem was but after a bit of milk/calpol, she finally gave in and went to sleep.
Today she has been ok one minute and screaming her head off the next. Eventually I realised that she was getting upset when she burped but this made me think she is still suffering with Reflux
A bit of Gaviscon and Nurophen (sp) and she was reasonable ok
Hopefully I will have a better night tonight

Well little fella is spending the week with his grandma (hubbie's mum) and I was slightly looking forward to a relaxing week but I'm at a total loss, I feel that I've lost an arm or something
I've always been very keen to make him independent, he was with a childminder by 4 months (not purely out of choice) but it is really hard not having the constant "why?" questions all day long
I think Princess Tilly is missing him as well, she keeps looking to his chair at breakfast  Having said that, little fella is having a whale of a time with grandma
I decided to do a bit of my Yoga video today, having got the all clear on the Athritis (sp) scare I thought I should start up again but ended up pulling a muscle in my shoulder

We had complimentary tickets to the Dunkeswell Airshow today.
The problem was that we had to find accomodation down there The local pub would charge £100 for the night for us all   So hubbie came up with the fantastic idea of camping
The last time I went camping was when I was 14 (a long time ago, just after the dinosaurs )
We ended up at a camp on the top of the Blackdown Hills, just round the corner from the local Glider club
It was horrible Little people were sooooooooooooooooooooooooooo cold (as was I) and we had very little sleep between the lot of us
Strangely I had a very vivid dream about both Shuggee and Gordon Ramsay

Today we went to Bowood in Wiltshire
I have never experienced Wiltshire before and was pleasantly suprised that it is a really lovely countryside B)
Bowood is a fantastic place to take children between the age of approx 4-12. Little fella was a happy chappy all day long and if I lived nearer I would certainly purchase a season ticket
