I'm getting a bit cheesed off with being unwell at the mo.
I had to have a scan on my kidney on Monday, as well as a growth scan, as Mervin is a little large for the dates. Because of an emergency I never got to see the consultant and find out how the kidney is but Merv is fine (dispite having Mick Jagger lips )
Went to the Docs yesterday re an ear infection to be told he had been sent my blood results in error. They were checking my kidney function which seems ok but it now seems that my Liver is having problems They need to do another blood test to check if it was just a blip
I also got an appointment for a Glucose tollerance test next Monday. Apparently cos Merv is large they have to make sure I don't have lots of glucose in my blood and so he's getting bigger on it.
I just sick of going to the hospital and waiting around for scans/bloods etc
The things us women go through to have babies - good job men don't have to do it

Well hubbie managed to get stuck in the snow last night for almost 2 hours
I didn't expect to see hardly any snow down here but so far we have had 2 lots in a week
Last night was particularly bad in this area. The main road to Cirencester had a reported 200+ abandoned cars on it last night and even the gritter lorry got stuck
Thankfully he got home in one piece, with no damage to him or the car

My little fella came home from Nursery yesterday saying "Bonhomme de neige" over and over again.
I asked him what he meant and he said "Snowman" My French is not very good
He loves his new Nursery and is learning so much it's scary but it's all done with fun and there is no pressure for the kids to do anything they don't want to do, they just do it because they really enjoy it
I went to a coffee morning at the school this morning in an attempt to meet new people in the area. It was interesting, with lots of mums and I actually had the b***s to talk to some of them (the bump does help )

Went to the Hospital this morning to see the Consultant Obsetritian (sp) re my kidney etc
Appointment was for 10.30am and at 11.45am my hubbie went to ask what was going on. "oh we've been a bit busy this morning" Hubbie got mildly narked and asked how to complain We then got fobbed off with excuse after excuse. One couple were still waiting since 10am
We eventually got to see the consultant who apologized but said this was likely to happen again When I got home I got a message to say she has managed to move me to another consultant who has a smaller workload and so I shouldn't have to wait as long - do you think she is just trying to get rid of an awkward patient
Anyway, having a kidney scan, growth scan and seeing new consultant on Monday
Currently watching Charlie and the Chocolate Factory, which is reward for little fella for being so excellently well behaved this morning dispite his parents not being so well behaved It's pretty good but I think little fella is going to be a bit scared of squirels now

Well we have finally moved from North to South (well South West)
The move itself was fairly straight forward. I was the only person who managed to break anything (a nice but fairly cheap vase)
Moving into the new house was a bit depressing Having only seen it once back in September I had managed to gloss over it's bad points. Plus the previous owners had not exactly 'made good' any thing that they had removed.
The carpet in the sitting room is soooooooooooo disgusting that I would not even go in until the floor was covered with dust sheets to make it look better It looks a lot better now we have covered it with a big rug and I am sorting out new carpets being fitting in a week or so
Hopefully a chap is coming this afternoon to put up an airial so we can watch TV rather than snow on the telly and with a bit of cheek I managed to accost a BT engineer yesterday to fix our phone line which should have been working last Tuesday but they were going to fix NEXT Monday
The worst part about the move was that my mother stayed with us from Wednesday until Sunday She's never actually stayed with us before and was checking out the area so she can also move down here (I thought I had put a bit of distance between me and her ) Then my eldest brother came down from Birmingham to help her have a look at some houses in Stroud on Saturday and between them they just slagged the house off They are both quite loud and like to put things down to make themselves feel better
I started feeling like Mr Quiet in the Mr Men story, living in Loudland and being very unhappy. Thankfully they all went and it's back to relative Quietland now
Little fella loves his new school and has settled in fantastically. It's a very well respected Catholic school (I keep quiet about our lack of beliefs )
Overall, I quite like the Cotswolds, very pretty with lots to do but I feel I will always miss the North York Moors

I can't sleep at the moment
I think it's a mix of worry about moving and Mervin trying to find the light switch in my tummy
Hubbie is very ruthless at getting rid of stuff, which is good as our new house is a little smaller than our current one (but smaller mortgage ) I'm having to find a new home for little fella's sand/water play table. Hubbie thinks I should just take it to the tip but I would rather someone had use of it
Strangely he thinks I being tight by getting narked at our buyers not paying the asking price for some lights and dishwasher we are leaving. We put in the property details that we wanted £110 in all for them but they seem to have decided that they are going to pay £85 - no offer, no discussion Now maybe I am being a bit "tight" but we are leaving loads of things, garden seats, sexy chrome bath cabinets, curtains etc and they are trying to swizz us out of £25 It's just the principle of the thing
Oh well, we had a bad going on when we moved from renting to our current house but as hubbie said "what goes around, comes around" and our Landlady who swizzed us then has had to creep past us on many a time
Last day for packing. Just seen the weather forecast for tomorrow and it looks like it's going to pour down so I dread to think what the carpet will look like with all the chaps walking in and out tomorrow

We didn't go out to the bonfire last night, little fella really does not like fireworks and I just thought why should we put him through yet more stress just for the sake of it It felt weird though first time I've not been
Lots of stress re moving, house is total disaster zone Only a couple of days and we can start to relax in the new house
Hubbie has told me that he has a meeting on Wednesday morning, Katie happy bunny? I think not
So, computer gets packed away tomorrow and laptop too, so will be a bit quiet for a day or so

Blimey, what a week. Firstly someone managed to wreck the main bridge on Wednesday, which I almost went through shortly after it happened not expecting to find a big hole in front of me
Now today the workmen saw something in the river and so we had 3 police cars, 2 ambulances and the air ambulance. From what I have heard the person was not alive Lot's of going on for a normally quiet little town
Yesterday was a day from Hell Our removal company annouced that as we had not paid upfront (it was a company move and they agreed to invoice the company after the event) they had someone else who had paid and exchanged already
So poor little old me went into hormone overdrive, thankfully waiting until the boiler guy had gone but thankfully I have managed to get the other company doing it and I had a bit of a better feeling about them even though their terms meant that we had to pay beforehand
Me and little fella went for a walk to the weekly market (what an event ) and got soaked to the skin So paddled back to get some lunch before heading off this afternoon to see my Grandma in Harrogate (she's 90+ but still got all her marbles ) Little fella loves going to see her and I will miss being able to pop across as often
Then a weekend of packing ready for the big move on Tueday

Oh at last, I've finished work
Today was mega stressful, with lots of sorting out of loose ends etc. Deleting old files, cookies (thanks for the program Paul)
We went out for lunch and this afternoon I got a card, gift voucher and a huge bouquet of flowers, plus I got a bottle of 5th Avenue Perfume from my boss
I will miss working but not the stress
Had a load of other stress with the removal company threatening to drop our move as we have not Completed yet I have assured the chap that we will move on Tuesday but I have to confirm to him first thing tomorrow. I am very tempted to tell him to go take a running jump (polite verson ) but I don't want to cut my nose off to spite my face
Had a emotional departure from little fella's childminder. He's been with her since he was 4 months old and she feels like a part of the family. She gave him a huge remote control car, which is charging at the moment and some other things for xmas I got her some flowers from Next, which she was really happy about
May try to see my Grandma tomorrow before we depart. Little fella loves going to see her but the highlight of his trips are playing with my auntie's penny savings - I'm sure he will play with them longer than the remote car

Only one day left at work
It's been a long time arriving but I will be glad when tomorrow is finished with and I can stop stressing about it 24/7 which I do at the moment
I have been kind and made some Flapjack with Apricot and Chocolate Brownies for my work colleagues for my last day.
It's also little fella's last day at his childminder's tomorrow. He's been with her since he was 4 months old and I feel like she is one of the family, so I imagine I will get a bit emotional tomorrow night. I have organised some flowers to be delivered and we made a card for her tonight
Other than that, I'm still coughing and it's really annoying me
    Tatty bye

Where do kids get it from :o Little fella is totally into the 'are we there yet', just where do they learn this :o What is the correct answer ? nothing, No not yet, almost?
I was supposed to get my windscreen fixed today but the guy arrived and told me that as I have Solarglass (tinted blue windscreen) that the repair would be clear and show exactly the same as it is at the mo, so I opted to pay the insurance company £50 to get a new one but I have to wait for them to order a new windscreen
I've only got two days left at work but I'm not feeling very well and getting a bit worried that I won't be well enough to show the new guy how to do every thing
Looking forward to moving next week. There is loads to do but it will be nice to not worry about work and relax a little bit. I'm getting very strong Braxton Hicks already (sorry guys lost you on that one) and I don't think that MiniLoo wants to wait until new year to make an appearance
