    Incredible snow around here, a stark differance from Slaithwaite Village to the tops towards Scapegoat hill. I'll be posting a link soon with photos from this afternoon on Flikr.

    Very dark and very heavy snow here. I haven't seen snow like this for 2 weeks, haha.

    Well it's been raining in Preston so i doubt Blackpool has snow.

    The showers intensified when they made land fall, snowing moderatley her now, some heavy stuff on the way.

    Parts of West Yorkshire finally getting heavy snow now, and Derbyshire and the Manchester area.

    Your fine here, i straddle the Yorks/Lancs border so my weather is usually more akin to Lancs if not a little luckier

    A nice NW Streamer setting up above me now, snow will start falling soon. M62 looks pretty bad at Saddleworth.

    Yeah, we still have most of the snow from the other Sunday so not bad going, Tuesday looks promising too if i dare say it.

    So close now, looking at jam cams at top of the M62 it isn't far off, whoop.

    The line of showers is so close, we have had some snow from it already.

    Sorry i should of explained, it was the pic which threw me off....I do believe 50cms have fallen prob more in some spots, staggering.

    Just to note, it snowed the other day with a dp of 0.4+. DP is below freezing here but i'm not in a City/Town or on the Coast. It was snowing lightly not long back here.

    Very cold night last night, a couple of flurries must have been about judging by the dusting. -5.1c.

    BBC on the TV have said snow showers today pushing further inland and extending southwards to lincolnshire and the SE tomorrow, And a narrow band of snow passing through tomorrow with plenty more showers right across the north. So they have mentioned it, Ignore the internet forecasts they really aren't that accurate.
