  1. Nah, no danger, the houses have porches, so heads are protected. In my little Cul-De-Sac there are icicles on every east facing frontage. I wish i knew what the lowest temperature was here last night, i'm reckoning around -6.
  2. Well actually they are my neighbours icicles but I don't think they will mind if I pass them off as my own!!
  3. Woo Hoo, currently moderate snow shower with 5-10p sized flakes. Perhaps we will have a blizzard
  4. It has been snowing for 2 hours here in Milton Keynes and there is an approx accumulation of 2cm's. The flakes are small and the snow is wet.
  5. The snow is light now and appears to be a bit slushy on the ground, unlike the December snow. Hopefully this is just an interlude!

  7. Snowfall has increased slightly, still smallish flakes but local estate roads now have a nice covering. Bliss!
  8. Light Snow in Milton Keynes, very light at first but now visible via the medium of LAMPOST!
  9. Just had a 20 nminute snow shower in MK, settled on cars and pavements. Clouds passing over now but had 5-10p sized flakes at it's peak! woo! Sun breaking through again now!

  13. That clip makes me go all funny, I still can't quite believe it happened! lol!
  14. I am an avid lamp post watcher, I have 3 vantage points from my house, kitchen window, lounge window and bedroom window and I often check throughout the night!! I find I take a quick look and then I pause (possibly holding my breath) and squint, just to make sure! he he!
  15. Hi bigjay78, Welcome! I went to school in Maldon! It looks good for all areas, particularly in the South East. It is really difficult to predict snow, even at close range. It does look like temperatures will favour snow so it's all eyes to the radar to look for bands of precipitation or developing precip. Doozer
