  1. Goodbye Cold Weather could actually be onto the right sort of cet temp this month for a change.... Lol. Early days still yet though.
  2. Richard you've finally moved from Aberdeen!?!Lol.
  3. Has turned out rather grey. Some limited blue sky seen earlier though. Nonetheless in the run up to Christmas I don't mind the duller weather too much, especially once thenchristmas lights are decked around the house. Gives the excuse to put them on earlier in the evening/afternoon and make things more cosy inside.
  4. Very nice addition this. Will use this regularly I think.
  5. Perhaps delusional is a strong word. Just don't want to see people being let down. Its often the case. A few ott posts about some FI charts recently. Not in here I must add though.
  6. I would say this map on here represents broadly what all cet measurements cover. http://www.netweather.tv/index.cgi?action=cet;sess=
  7. Yes a very dull day today. Wet this afternoon. Can't say I'm surprised as it is November after all. Feels pretty seasonal. Anyone who thinks cold and snow is the norm in our winters is delusional.
  8. Fog less thick tonight. More mist than anything. Probably too strong a breeze albeit it's still light.
  9. This made me laugh! Please post some charts in the near time frame for a change!
  10. Thanks for the update. Yes things can change very quickly and often, even locally and thus not captured by stations very much or at all. All interesting stuff.
  11. 1) not necessarily. As an official met station it should be pretty accurate. Many variables probably at play. I don't know the topogroahy there at all but could there be a local foehn effect? Was it a particularly sunny spot whilst elsewhere nearby was more foggy/cloudy?2) no. Not really. Anything is possible with our climate! Quite cool the records have both fallen on the 1st though.
  12. Pretty dense fog now. Can barely see across the road. Been a very long time since I have seen fog like it. Makes a change though. More cosy indoors feel I suppose! Still quite mild.
  13. Just 0.3c out. Been pretty close in the all the last few months.
  14. Had gone foggy again here but sun trying to come out once more. Has suppressed temps though.
  15. It did turn foggy briefly here at dawn but warm and clear blue skies here.
  16. Looks promising for tomorrow (Sunday) now. There is a light mist here but hasn't thickened for hours now. Doubt fog will form. Also met office seems to have removed most of the fog and mist symbols now. Plenty of sun symbols tomorrow now too. Hope it's right. another day in shorts will be gratefully recieved!
  17. Wow. Those were the days of the Nokia. Yes they are generally much easier to deal with! Doesn't help that I try and type fast on this. Very easy to type the wrong thing especially with numbers as there is nothing for autocorrect to but in. Not that autocorrect is usually helpful. Haha.
  18. Whoops. Sorry it was 16c here. Typing on my phone. Clearly my big fingers are too much for the small buttons here! Far too many times I end up typing a full stop instead of a space on this iPhone. Also new lines are easily started. Don't get me started on autocorrect too. Haha. Nearly sent one very awkward message yesterday! Lol.Regardless, the shorts were out today. It felt super! wunderground does suggest 15-18c was the norm across the area today especially around 16c. Probably a slight UHI affect around these parts more. I am close to Merry Hill so quite a built up effect. Have seen some impressive variations in temperatures in the car recently. Notably some weeks ago I was driving from kiddy to home in the evening. In the rural areas it was some 2-3c cooler than just a couple of miles into the more urban Stourbridge. Had the window down too and could certainly notice the difference too.
  19. Gorgeous day! 16c and non stop sunshine since late morning. beautiful.
  20. 18c today. Dull drizzly afternoon but pleasant morning and lunch. Should be an exceptionally pleasant and warm weekend.
  21. 1st July - 34c reached here. 3rd July - biblical thunder and lightning overhead. One of the best storms I have ever witnessed. April - fine warm spell. Late September/early October - very sunny fine spell.
  22. Trolling? Not sure how.Just posting a potential option on the table. But as its not what coldies want to see no wonder it gets shot down...
  23. It would get light ridiculously early in mid summer though. Thing is we just can't win really.
