  1. I did wonder, it certsonly feels cold enough, I was expecting to see it on the weather type radar.
  2. Each year. January 3rd to December 23rd, dry unbroken sunshine temp 27c, severe thunderstorms on Fridays and Saturdays from 11pm. 24th Dec to 2nd January, periods of heavy snow, alrernating with dry sunny days, temp below freezing throughout. That'll do nicely ta!
  3. Wasn't going to bother as I'm late agai, but I've entered every one so I might as well. 8.1C & 124mm please
  4. Summery spell certainly over here. Been pouring down all night. I don't recall this being forecast!
  5. Just been outside to hear better and the rumbling is actually continuous. It must be fabulous for those directly under it.
  6. South of Stoke sadly. Bit of rain and distant rumbles in the centre
  7. Started rainig a bit here, sadly the part with the lightning has gone South of us. Plenty of distant rumbling. Shame as it seems to be quite active.
  8. I suppose if you keep saying the same thing every few hours, eventually you'll be right.
  9. Maybe it wouldn't have been so bad if it hadn't followed on from an awful spring too. Waiting patiently or some sort of warm-up from March to the end of May proved fruitless, as we had the constant cloud, rain & low temperatures. A couple of exceptional weeks in June, and then back to the same dross that had been on offer since the end of February. I don't mind a mixed summer, but June apart, warm, dry and especially sunny days, have been at a premium until now, when the renewed horrors of autumn & winter are staring at us, as we enjoy the last decent meal of the condemned season. Maybe in your area Alexis, but not here, It was just cold and wet.
  10. I respectfully disagree. July and August have been so poor that June is but a distant, hazy memory. I don't believe that I have experienced a duller and colder summer period than the last 2 months. Just about every morning has been cloudy and usually wet and the days have rarely improved. It's the relentless cloud and coolness that has been the most remarkable feature since the backend of June.
  11. Well why should the last holiday of this pathetic excuse for a summer be any different? Raining, 14c and dark enough to need a small light on. Roll on May 2024, at least we'll still have hope!
  12. Well technically, Slovenia is a Mediterranean country as it has a very short stretch of coast on the Adriatic, just South of Trieste.
  13. Back home in cloudy Stoke. 15c at midday. Deep joy.
  14. Just what does it take to get a bright morning? 5 days running, thick cloud with added rain/drizzle on 3 of them. So sick of 2023.
  15. A wet start to the day, followed by a btighter and drier slot with temps around 19c, and now back to persistent drizzle and heavy cloud. Summer fare on the North West coast.
  16. Just move a bit further North and its pouring again. At least the wind has died down.
  17. Back to the usual. 100% thick cloud and a stiff, cool breeze.
  18. I'm in Blackpool for a few days and at the moment, it's dry sunny and warm enough! It's just an average summers day, yet it feels like I've gone abroad compared to home
  19. Scottish schools started their holidays in June, but England & Wales don't start until the middle of July, They've had it lousy throughout.
  20. I see the models are trolling us again this morning, with a very warm dry spell next week. Just to assure all, I'll be on holiday, so it defo ain't happening!
