    It's lovely here. T-shirt order and a sarnie in the garden. I can see the cloud to the south that the posts above mention, but I'm going to call BBQ for tea this evening. Can't go back on it now.

    Stepped outside at 5:30pm with no intention of coming back in until it gets dark. It's beautifully warm, beautifully sunny... and it's raining. Time to get the big green out.

    It's sort of nature. One of our hens laid her 2nd 3 inch egg in a week today. It's a beauty.

    First ducklings of the year, down by the river this evening. They're in there somewhere.

    Haven't seen one for ages, but now it's two stoats in two days, a mile or so apart.

    We've had a couple of brief hail showers, so far. This one looks like it might be a bit tastier. Most of the cows think it will be.

    Followed by Fish 'n' chips and a pint of Piddle. The Mrs doesn't know she's born.

    Now that I didn't know. Everyday's a school day... We've just returned from a walk and the Mrs saw another one. That'll be three different locations along a long stretch of river. Haven't seen any otters yet, but the word on the lane is they are about. We were just saying it can't be long until they return. They'd better hurry up, it's the Downton Cuckoo Fair a week Saturday. Can't have it without them.

    From the beeb. Europe's Herschel space telescope has imaged one of the most popular subjects in the sky - the Horsehead Nebula - and its environs. Everything is relative. I believe the kids on the street say Boom!

    Saw our first Swallows and House Martins this evening at Bodenham, nr Salisbury.

    Ha. South Today were at the Rose Bowl for the cricket today . Snow stopped play after 30 overs.

    Just been out for a walk in it and it was brass monkeys over the exposed water meadows. Here's the local weir. Moderate flakes, but pretty heavy in that wind.

    Hello Blizzards, The only thing I'd suggest is that you might want to choose something that allows for more counties, regions in the future. You really don't want to be switching domains when you start expanding further afield. If you think you might always be dealing with UK holiday locations, can you come up with anything along those lines? i.e less location and more leisure specific. john
