    Calm down duck, we've got some starting to come down again in Lenton! <_< And we should be alright for snow all evening, I'm optimistic enough!

    Nice one...we've got an inch or so on the back garden table, mind. Feel sorry for the binmen who came round this morning. And the poor bloke doing some stuff with power tools outside! Are the buses running OK today? I wonder if they're done with the resurfacing at Canning Circus, otherwise getting out of Nottingham to the west will be impossible!

    Yeah, and I study biochemistry! :o Looking forward to the low's arrival, should give Nottingham a persistant fall of snow, and avoiding the mild sector.

    It's not just you...NG7 hasn't quite been fantastic, it's been on and off, occasionally heavy, but not exceptionally so. About 2-3cm covering, slightly more in the drift against the fence.

    Yeah, though originally from Dorset, I'm just here during the university term time which happens to be...now! Ah, Dunkirk, another student area nowadays! I know of it, not being far from where my lectures are in the QMC! Not quite that much has hit Nottingham yet, I think we'll get blasted a bit later today!

    Heavy no in Nottingham, looks like the snow shield has kicked into action. Patchy cloud too. Seems like the snow that had come on our patio has disappeared as well. I'm sure we'll have more coming!

    Don't start...I don't have a hope of understanding it! I got excited a minute ago because I thought something may have happened, but I was wrong!

    More snow coming down in Nottingham, if this continues through the night then a very nice covering is in order!

    I must say, lumping those regions together, especially with London, was very ambitious! They're nearly onto their 4th thread! I don't think any of us realised how popular your regional snow watch thread idea would be!

    Cheers for the heads up! Nothing falling yet here, but clouds look very threatening! EDIT: It is now snowing again - fine flakes, but still good enough!

    I looked at the Meto one, a moderate intensity band with Nottingham's name on it was my opinion! Let's wait and see, eh? :lol:

    Hilarious! I should have been ready for that! I can't stop myself laughing really! Our latest shower here has subsided in the meantime.

    Well, we've got snow on the ground now, but 2cm is still overkill I reckon! :lol: You should be alright until the mild sector comes tomorrow afternoon...problem with Grimsby being where it is...

    Cool! Which area? I just put the bin out - it's falling thick and fast out there, accumulating on the road and pavement too, I got covered!

    I would guess that with the £42m frozen in Icelandic bank accounts, Nottingham City Council can't afford to grit the roads! Very quiet here, not seen so much as a flake for quite a bit.

    Nottingham's copping a shower, probably that one from Newark earlier!

    On the radar you posted earlier there looked like 3 waves queuing up to hit Nottingham, so hopeful for it!
