  1. The air behind the weakening front moving southwards is actually around 1C milder than the air currently to the south of it.
  2. Don't think it was ever foggy Not sure though, I'm lying in bed haha!
  3. Aye, I'm up to 0.0C now too. Effects of the sun in what is almost late January!
  4. I don't think they're even possible? White light (sunlight) must shine through water/transparency to create the spectrum. Snow isn't transparent, it couldn't have the same effect.
  5. It must be low level cloud. The upper wind vectors were blowing in the opposite direction to the actual winds last night.
  6. More showers developing in the Irish Sea around the IOM. Can't see these letting up tonight.
  7. Just drove up to runcorn castle. It's 70m higher than my house. We had snow falling and lying, but this was from a 10 minute shower here Second picture is the mersey, just a height comparison.
  8. I am finally pleased to announce, we have heavy wet snow
  9. The uppers are now beginning to fall even further.
  10. Met Office computer generated forecasts have updated, and downgraded Tuesday's event to rain.
  11. Uppers of -7C and sub-zero dewpoints and it's rain all the way.
  12. Heavy rain here. HAHAHHHAHAHAHHHA Forgot the weather was a joker
  13. Showers of hail and rain here. Absolute joke how we can't get snow from this setup!!!
  14. It's crap, had about 45 seconds of flakes then nothing!!! Radar is a joke.
  15. It's FINALLY snowing. Very very wet snow, which is surprising given the temperature?
  16. Radar is lying. Still says heavy precip over me, nothing is falling!!!
  17. Milder air tied in with these showers. Just isn't right. 0.9C as this one arrived, 1.4C now.. Falling as rain and hail. Dewpoint is -2C... Radar shows heavy echoes above, it's only just noticeable in the lamppost. Absolute joke.
  18. NMM has been very poor at handling these showers. Has had much of the region dry today.
