  1. I hope so, although Met Office warning issued earlier says showers becoming less frequent tonight!?
  2. A little too far north that I think, you'll get some too, but not the area I'm talking about.
  3. If that lot currenly in NW Wales makes it over the mountains, it'll smash Crewe head on my friend!
  4. Haha, yeah it must be! It's been clear here for the past two hours which has helped the temperature. Stuck on 1.0C.
  5. People of Merseyside, Halton and Northern Cheshire The NMM has our areas under an area of *HEAVY SNOW* from 9pm-midnight tonight!
  6. Something along the lines of "Oh my god that is totally not cool" RAIN? What's the temp and dew? 1.0C with a -3C DP here!
  7. The wind vectors are too westerly. Us in the south of the region will miss out completely if this continues. I've just got back to Runcorn and it's bone dry & crystal clear. Temp is at 1.2C though, with a dewpoint of -3C. Anything that falls should be completely of snow. Amazing how much warmer it is in Merseyside currently.
  8. Heavy snow! Driving through Kirby at the minute
  9. Driving back from southport now. Showers of hail & sleet even on the extreme coastline. Some nice flakes in there.
  10. I was out last night haha! I met the Wealstone raider!
  11. There should be a bloody warning for sunburn Screw this, I'm going Southport to enjoy this sunshine
  12. Woke up half an hour ago, looked out to see crystal clear skies, thought to myself, wow it looks cold. 1C, 2C? Nope, 6.3C........
  13. WHY!!! Is the temperature +6C outside??!!!??!!! That's 3C above what it should be!!!! No snow today, there goes my forecast out the window.
  14. Looks good to me. This has spawned from literally anaprop. So did the shower affecting Manchester. Encouraging signs. 0.6C now, DP -2C, showers, come now! Haha!
  15. I know, it's a joke! If we come out of this spell without any settling snow, I'll be so angry.
  16. NMM has showers grouping and becoming heavy after midnight. Absolutely!
  17. Yes, but it doesn't matter where it's heading. It's the positioning that's interesting. The fact it's SAT in the Irish Sea with sub -5/-6 850HpA profiles, it's a recipe for a snowfest.
  18. Look at that tasty low sat out in the Irish Sea. Wales and the North West would get absolutely hammered, with many showers penetrating further southwards too.
  19. Not too sure, Wales and southern NW England would get most I imagine
  20. OH HELLO, HOW HAVE WE MISSED THIS?! Low sat in the Irish Sea! HELLO snow machine! NW England = buried!
  21. I just want some clear skies now. All this hail & sleety rubbish is doing is making it wet and holding the temperature up.
