  1. EURO4 is a big upgrade for London and surrounding area snow all the way till 12 in the afternoon tomorow However we can't discount how marginal it'll be close to the estuary/cotsal areas.
  2. Well the max temp up north at my parents house is -4.c with intermittent snowfall. By contrast its +4.c in London, let's get those temps down
  3. Obviously isn't going to be exact but gives you an idea if your under any streamers/showers what to expect by the end of the day. Imo the uppers are wayyy too marginal.
  4. Actually it's 11-14mm if your in South London could be some significant accumulations.
  5. EURO4 is an upgrade for London, we've gone from 3mm total rainfall to 8-9mm. Hopefully we could see around 5cm snow.
  6. I'm not particularly optimistic that we'll see a covering in central tbh, my concern is the band is going to be light and patchy by time it gets here and light snow never settles in this part of London. Hopefully we see a heavier burst of snow to begin with and anything after that should find it easer to lay.
  7. Well the official weather stations at Heathrow and City Airport are 2 & 3.c so Fulham is probably around 3.c as well. We should hopefully get down to -2.c tonight
  8. So basically we are lucky if London sees a covering. A mess.
  9. That's mad, at this rate it'll miss the Midlands
  10. You know the winds aren't from the continent by that point rigghhhhtttt. They are direct easterly from the North Sea And yeah the EURO4 is gearing up for snowmagedden for the south (below). GFS P at this rate it'll be a south coast event
  11. What is inconsistent is whether there will be a wrap round, what is consistent however is the uppers, and - 6 uppers unfortunately won't cut it. And no just rain here but that's what you get for living right in the center of London too much UHI. Though Thursday is showing 6 hours of heavy snow for here so we'll see.
  12. No that would fall as rain, please refer to the atmospheric conditions, we are talking -6 uppers in a strong wind from the east. The level of modification would bring rain even far inland, perhaps if the wrap round reaches the pennines above say 300m you'd see snow. It's like how even inland with -8 uppers in a NWly we still barely scrape a wintry mixture, for this setup you'd need -9 uppers or below, and even then for costal areas it'd be too marginal.
  13. They're not photos they are prt scr I took of videos, don't know what you expect a phone to be capable of at night tbh.
  14. Nope I've mentioned before go on Instagram type in a location ie Stevenage you can view people's stories from there.
  15. The GFS is the most north though and even that has shifted south. At a push we could wait till tomorrow morning EURO4 but I highly doubt we'll see a shift north.
  16. There's a complete lack of posters in London on this forum is there a secret London weather forum I'm not aware of?
  17. Yep all the models have corrected south, with some pushing it even more south, even the ones further north still miss the whole of Yorkshire. Game over.
  18. I see the Meto is going for 6 hours of heavy snow here (London) but light patchy snow for Leeds. A clear trend south.
  19. Yeah but it's obviously not gonna look like that the ECM massively over does it on the snow depths.
  20. While the ECM hasn't been great it can't be disregarded, dissapointing to see it doesn't make it north of the Midlands. Will have to see what the EURO4 shows tonight.
  21. The temperature profiles across London are awful, if we're around 3.c I'd be more optimistic but 6.c is wayyy too high.
