We've had more snow and have now got another covering. Looks to be about 2cm thick but I'm not venturing outside it's far too cold!

Had a prolonged shower after 5pm, which produced absolutely MASSIVE snowflakes, some as big as a childs clenched fist.

I've seen worse snow, but I've honestly never seen such big flakes. I was out and about, shame I didn't have my camera.

The shower left 2cm fresh snow, which thawed a little and has now frozen. Still a decent cover from that snow though. Another couple of showers around 6,7pm, but nothing since.

Had heaviest snow shower yet at 9.30pm, settled everywhere except roads, now clear and very cold...

Looking at the radar though, more should be on the way soon...

Had a heavy snow shower about 5 pm,after that the sky cleared for a couple of hours, allowing the existing snow and slush to freeze solid.

Had a couple of showers since about 7pm and there is quite heavy snow right now, which is readily settling on the frozen ground.

A nice wintry night ahead.

Whereabouts Snow White? I'm on the coast by Tynemouth, we had about 20 minutes worth of sleety snow, seems to have recovered the roads. Hoping for more soon...

Heavy snow. I'm expecting it to be a shower but it should still add a couple of cm's to whats already here.
