White out here at work in dorking - heavy snow slowing a bit now...

Just had a great dumping of snow up here :huh: :huh:

Still snowing now but clearing I think.

It snowed from 3 heavy showers around lunchtime and earlier on about half hour ago it was snowing heavily, left a light dusting which melted easily not long after, pehaps peaked at nearly 0.5cm depth earlier, virtualy nothing left now ecept on the hillsides.

Very Heavy snow shower in Maldon Essex right now!!! :huh: :lol:

We've only managed soft hail showers so far today which did start to settle but soon melted!! :huh:

The flakes are now 50p size and its already starting to give a covering even on the very wet ground! :lol:

First heavy snow shower of the day just now with large fluffy flakes settling on grass and roofs.

Snowing heavily here (2nd time today) flakes not pellets :huh: Gone very dark looks like quite a bit to fall this time. Should stay longer if significant as temp has now dropped and sun gone down :lol: :lol: :lol: :o

Short and sweet I am afraid - looked promising but quickley died down :huh: Not as good as this afternoons event :huh:

Two showers passing me at the moment.

One to the north and one to the south, both look quite hefty.

I just got very light bit of soft hail for about 5 minutes, off the nearer shower, to the south. The skys clearing out to the east, I can see the moon. BOOO :huh:

had 1 snow shower this morning but didn't settle (number 1)

had another at around 9 just small pellets

had one at about 2pm, large ish pellets, settled at first but then metled

number four - just had a few flakes from a nearby quite severe heavy snow shower - no settle

so as you can see bad luck for me in hertfordshire

currnetly cloudy with a strong northeasterly wind - very chilly at 2c.

Very heavy snow now falling in North Walsall! Big snow flakes! Brownhills has completly disapperared and the sky is over cast! Its like a Blizzard lol

Yeah the sky is overcast and its like a blizzard here, its sticking and drifting as we speak! I'm recording with the camcorder and ive got me camera out, im like paprazzi for snow falling :huh: :huh:

Decided to walk to the shops 2 mins before the heavens opened with an arctic blast of snow.

Temp was 3.3c when I left and 1.1c when I returned 30 mins later :huh:

There are some nice big snowy looking clouds over toward the coast :huh:

Just cycled home from work in a blizzard!! - it was the first real snowfall for my area of this cold spell, and it came from nowhere. Interesting ride home. :huh:

Another heavy snow shower just now but cleared up again.

Here was I thinking the North West wouldn't get much snow from this current set-up. Things are looking up. :huh:

Woke up to a dusting of snow this morning. Have had 6 showers so far of varing intencity, the recent one of very heavy snow and soft hail has left another thin covering after all earlier showers melted soon after falling.
