Ok Heres the readings here in Luton at 18.50pm:

WIND SPEED 9 Knts

WIND DIR WSW

VIS 4-6KM

TEMP 0oC

WIND CHILL -6oC

DEW POINT -1oC

PRESSURE 1016hPa

HUMIDITY 96%

Current conditions for N Luton are light snow since 15.00 light settling, light wind blowing more of the snow in the air rather than settling. We have ice here but i guess thats from last night and its been cold enough today not to melt it.

8.02 15cm of snow at least in Canterbury and -2.4C

Ditto! :)

Complete and utter surprise to wake up to the snow this morning. As Essex Snow said "Quite simply un-believeable"

At work in Dover had snow falling for most of the morning. Dover itself only had a covering last night, which settled nicely on top of the remaining snow from last week.

Hi, its been snowing since fourish here in Chesham. lots of big fat fluffy flakes and it began settling from the off as the ground had not thawed despite lots pf sun earlier. Dreading it turning to rain as forecast, not sure whats worse, no snow arriving or best snow of the winter turning to wretched rain!

Light or very light snow yesterday evening from about 1915 until 2200 gave 1cm on top of the existing snow. Light snow this morning from 0915 until early afternoon gave another 1cm.

A few light snow flurries after 1700.

Mean depth of lying snow 11.6cm, 97% of ground covered.

Its been snowing through kost of this evening, but not too much accumulatingyet due to the variation in the winds, blowing ths snow around in the air, and taking ages to settle, the very slightest of coverings

we also had a light snow shower this morning

This morning in Derby there was light snow did not settle as it was too light and it got blown away because of the wind and dryness. Since last Monday Derby has had snow every day.

Rain has turned to sleet/wet snow now, nothing to write home about, it looks quite pretty falling from the dark skies, but only settling as slush.
