Can anyone see any difference in brightness between the north polar and south polar regions of the Moon?

Yes, the south side is more dull. It's starting!

They're definitely too close here, only brief glimpses of the moon.

Now evident here, with the shadow now covering the bottom of the moon. Perfect conditions for this...should be memorable! :hi:

Amazingly crystal clear her in South East Essex, looks rather ominous the way the shadow is reaching accross
