Yes, the south side is more dull. It's starting!

First umbral contact. Heading towards the beginning of totality 22:44:13. Obvious to the naked eye, beautiful clear sky.

They're definitely too close here, only brief glimpses of the moon.

Now evident here, with the shadow now covering the bottom of the moon. Perfect conditions for this...should be memorable!

Totally crystal clear here. The 'man on the moon' don't look too happy just now..it's like his lower jaw is tripping him
