It's been snowing most the morning, but it's so painful to watch. If this was rain it would be very very light drizzle.

Please please give us something a little more heavy.

Just had a light shower here in Barry about 15 mins ago, not enough to have a dusty cover. But hey let's hope this is the beginning of things to come.

Just a few small flakes now, sun is trying to break through.

Huge upgrades today on this cold spell,GFS showing much more snow and less rain, and the fax charts are awesome.

Almost looking like blizzards. :lol:

Wow! It's actually snowing properly here. Started about half an hour or so ago, just tiny flakes, now proper big flakes, everything rapidly turning white. Don't know if it's wishful thinking on my part, but the sky looks full of it.

Had constant, but very light, snow for about 30 minutes now.

The ppn to the east is creeping closer but I just hope the southern tip of it doesn't dissipate.

Looks like Bristol should get a good hour of decent snow.

Pressure charts the metoffice/bbc use to forecast to weather,something they don`t show very much now like the good ole days.

Snow shower has passed,lot of cloud about today and little or no sun with a moderate NE-ly.

I can only remember one occasion where we've had snow this heavy and pitch this quick. That was like 6 years ago, very good signs.

Sorry to bring bad news but looks like a downgrade to me.

Look at the 528 dam it runs through top of mid wales and this is will not help with direction this comes from.

We need that line to move well south for snow in South West
