Really light snow in Leeds city centre. Interesting it's moderate and settling up at Leeds/bradford airport!

It couldn't be snowing more gently here if it tried without it actually not snowing but then it wouldn't be snowing at all so I think I am right on the cusp of what you could call snowing as opposed to not snowing.

I hope that it clear.

Towards the Midlands, everything is going directly E-W :)

Finally beginning to get heavier here Brian, it should be your way before long, and no more mountains to cross!

That really made me laugh hehehe

Excellent news guys, I can relax a little bit more now.

I wish it would hurry up and start to fall; otherwise, it's going to be too dark to spot

my first flake of the evening.

The first flake is always the best :D

Now come on Brian that's what they invented lamp posts for, why else would they be there? :)

I think for most parts of Yorkshire, it should snow this evening, whether it will be light or heavy or not will depends on where you are and a bit of pot luck, metoffice warning maps would just sums it up what will probably happen tonight but we shall see. Maybe its a good thing there is no warning from the met office because more stuff tends to happen when there is no warnings here.

Bone dry here-the clouds are pretty high but there may be something gathering on the horizon-I am sure we will eventually get our share up here before mid-march but as I am away in Portugal the last week of february you can be rest assured that is when the bulk of it will fall!

Its not settling as planned, there are patches on the ground where snow is settling but only patches not general, there is probably bits of froast or a thin layer of ice on these parts, the snow isnt heavy at all (never was), was a bit moderate earlier now mostly light with thin flakes
