dogs, do you still have Heavy Snow because if so the radar is really messed up as you should be dry now. Its only showing light precip so it could have problems in which it did here earlier!

we did honest mate....just stop well sort of,,,,its light now :)

Only about 10 schools shut here in Swansea, wasnt too bad at 8am but very bad here now, those schools that are open, will have to stay open now...if they shut it will be mayhem

Great, im not saying your lying by the way as the radar messed here up by saying we would be dry when it continued for another 1hour snowing lightly.

So, How long did it last dogs?

The radar sounds like it should be light but obviously alot heavier actually?

Heavy snow continues here, up to 4inches now, locally 5 inches

Its even settling right on the coast as we have 2cm with moderate snow.

I know mate...lol......about 1 hr fairly heavy..................last night according to radar i had moderate snow............in reality I saw the heaviest snow of my life.no joke

and ive been around since the late 60s :)

Yeah lots of snow last nite, a good 2 maybe 3 inches in places round my house.

Im not sure where these news channels and local radio ar egetting their information but they say more is on the way this evening... I cant see it myself?

Good dumping of snow her in Frampton Cotterell on the North edge of Bristol. Got around 4 inches here. Saw 2 snowploughs going down the road together this morning, firsdt time I have seen that in very many years. Here are a couple of pics.

Isn't it last night's snow starting to slip south again, rather than a new pulse coming up from the south?

Seems to be pushing up from the English channel looking good for areas south of Bristol. Bristol very much borderline.

Good dumping of snow her in Frampton Cotterell on the North edge of Bristol. Got around 4 inches here. Saw 2 snowploughs going down the road together this morning, firsdt time I have seen that in very many years. Here are a couple of pics.

Tomorrow looks interesting, 10mm of 'sleet', which if it is anything like this moring, could be more heavy snow! When will it ever stop?

I just hope it doesnt rain too much and thaw a lot of the snow.

Hmmm. South East snow tonight showing much further north and west on latest BBC weather - almost Bristol
