Snow Watch: Cymru And South West England

had atleast the heaviest snowfall here for 10 years have 8-9cms lying snow nearly 6inches in the garden, the snow started falling proper from 2am,but was at it's heaviest from 3am right thorough to 5 30am with near blizzard conditions at times.

I'm off out to enjoy it now. did you lot in chelts fair well, still light snow here

im shattered .3 hrs sleep

.cars and buses stranded.. Spring BANK............i got stuck twice to shops.never again i will go out t he car in this........

just got in to work at SY23 3BT (4 miles east of Aberystwyth). No snow. Overcast with patches of blue sky trying to appear. The occasional snowflake (tiny!) drifting down past the window - but no snow event here at the moment whatsoever.

Wow! Didn't expect to wake up to this much, won't be able to moan that it never snows in Somerset anymore. Slightly worried that temps are only just below freezing (please god don't let it thaw too soon), anyone know if we're supposed to get any more today? Pleeeeeeeeze not rain!

Precipitation appears to running out in the South where it's coming from. What happens later does anyone have a good idea? There's talk of last nights system coming back south but precip charts aren't really showing this?

Slight covering overnight, so it obviously didn't turn back to rain. Thick fog here at the moment.

With regards to the PPN moving south, its more of a case of a band running into the SE overnight, but never really making inroads inland, so once its stopped, I guess thats it for us this time.

Why the hell isnt there a warning out for SW and West wales? Persistant heavy snow here and reports of 6 inches in pembrokeshire, forecast is bull too!
