BBC now reporting 200 motorists trapped in Exeter, can confirm we have had 3 hours of blizzards and there is 5cm of standing snow at least.

I'm really nervous to press refresh on the Meto radar for the 0030 update incase it's begun moving East!!

Meteox shows it pumping into South Wales and edging slighly west still, so looking good

It keeps stopping and starting here.

Can anyone please tell me if the meteox radar is showing more snow over the Bridgwater area please? i get confused with all the shades of blue and I am not sure what it means.

Thanks

Absolute whiteout heavy blizzard in Winterbourne. Could be our last ppn for a while, but I'm confident it will build back towards us. Fears of it not covering wet roads have been quashed. Awesome.

yep radar is out parts of a303 shut just given out on the radio :)

Got heavy rainy sleety stuff now. Amazing that South Petherton is so close and much lower and is getting snow.

And another thing. The traffic camera we were looking at earlier:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/somerset/webcams/came...on=bbc_new_west

Looks like there isn't any traffic coming south down the M5 - hardly any tyre tracks!!
