Here's one from the NW radar (remove if inappropriate).

Lots of ppt in the east, showers galore, and further inland than forecast by the GFS so hopefully a few might come this way later in the day.

Showers look to be penetrating into the west midlands which is a good sign, and not dieing out as quickly as forecasted.

A slightly more westerly bent to the winds rather than the straight southerly is helping.

Looks like we may get lucky at this rate if that radar continues as more and more showers move inland. Or could we all be just in a dream world.

Maybe we should all stand facing North East and then suck in at the same time and try and drag it this way

Im feeling more hopeful that I might see at least a flake of snow, think positive!

I'm getting a little more optimistic now, the wind has picked up this afternoon and after a high of 4.0C it is now back down to 3.1C so the dewpoint must be somewhere around freezing by now. It really does feel bitter now!

I still think it is unlikely any real showers making it down here. wallbash.gif

Hi Mike...Yea same here getting more optimistic than yesterday.

But still not 100% putting all my hope into this...

But there is a possability this LP will move more West as time goes by..

GFS out soon as well I think

edit heavy snowshower in the distance..15miles??

Hi Pat, well I think half the reason I'm more optimistic is just because the sun is shining and it feels COLD not just chilly as it has done since Saturday. Here's hoping the LP does do as you've said, that's probably all we need now in the short term.

The radar looks good for the first snow showers to arrive.

I actally would not get are hopes up cause i think they will start going in a more southerly direction later so it may not come further enough west.
