Im in the far extreme South/West so only going to get a few flakes I think as I can see the wrap-around snow curtain's

They do seem to be penetrating well into land, its just whether they can make it this far.

Certainly more showers & further in land than anything the BBC was showing.

Once again a woeful performance by the them.

Just typed your Postcode into NW 5 minute radar and the band just clipped you.

Damn this radar is good.

looks like snow shower heading into bristol soon . seems like these showers getting west alot more big dark clouds in bristol and winds picked up .

at last, ive finally managed to get back to the forum after netweather and the forum have been down!!

One small cloud went overhead about 50mins ago and a few proper flakes fell from it! which is good news but not a lot on the radar now so not sure if East Dorset will get anymore unless it arrives out of nowhere later??

Being interviewed about how bad it might be for the East like 20-30cm possability....

Still not sure how far west it will get..

She said cold going through xmas day also heavy snow for scoty land and Ireland the weekend......so more to come yet

Reverse psychology works! Contrary to my pessimistic post earlier, I've just had my first snow shower of the season, pretty fat flakes too. Lasted only 5 mins, but better than nothing!

Sorry if this is a stupid question but where is all this snow thats ment to hit on the radar? because there doesnt look that much coming into the East the moment unless its ment to form out of no where later??

Because one band to the south is moving past the SE out in the channel towards France and the other to the north of that looks like its heading North not south?
