Temp back down to freezing. Dew point back down too -1.3C. Warm sector realy stuffed it for us.

Im gutted for you tonight mate as i thought you would do aswell as me :unsure:

i know but ahh well, its not like im not going to see snow at all this winter really and tomorrow looks better also, so ill be happy if i see 1-2cm by tomorrow night but nothing more than that, those big flakes you saw is what i rememebr from last feb when the easterly became active and some beefy showers caused blizzards and slight drifting. here is exactly what it delivers!

Been snowing again, mainly lightly, for the last 15 minutes or so.

Slight thaw at the mo here but we have had about 4-5cm snow this evening so far. Looking at the radar there may be a little bit more to come.

Meteox showing more snow to come and it really is coming down at mo.

This is ACE! Not seen snow like this for ages! It really is piling up fast here at Osgodby. I have the temp at 0.8C and can here dripping though so I think It's borderline till it clears then like I said -7C! Should be interesting in the morning!

Do you have a copy of tonights evening news? I got some snow pics in there!

steady light snow now! and getting slightly better lol

Update= its settling on the roads and all over the black ice!!! could mount up to a 1cm back to where we started LOL :cold::rofl:

Yep saw the pics. Very nice. Wife has to travel to Whitby early doors to work. Not nice. Still snowing in town. :cold:

its coming down steady now!!! hahaha think this is taking the mick out of the 1st band! if it wasnt for that bloody warm sector then we would of been ok tonight!!

Thanks! Me too, A five mile cycle to the hospital! Already had 3 people phone in "stuck" (Lightweights!) :rofl:

Seems to be easing a bit now.

Going on the latest bbc forcast I would say yes, especially during the afternoon.

I think we will, tommorow is looking like a West Yorkshire only event (obviously including the North West England etc).

Going by the graphics I would say yes. There was a large white band stretching from cheshire to around York. I think that will cover your area. I will keep my fingers crossed for you mate.
