Hi, I have been reading the thread with great interest over the past few days. I am in South Doncaster and it is raining after about 20 minutes of sleet :drinks:

Temperature: 0.8

Dewpoint: -0.7

Not impressed, I was looking forward to a good 'dumping' like most of you!

very bad aint it, all our snow cover is slush now! we need a proper NE and E wind to get us our snow fall, last feb had 4 nice falls of snow! makes this cold spell look bad snow wise, then 20miles east and 20miles north gets the snow, thats why its depressing and dissapointing

Not sure if I am classed as Midlands or Pennines but I will try here.

Snow falling north of Derby now, nothing too spectacular but its settling nicely. I'm a little concerned at people north of me getting rain! I hope it doesn't rain here!

EDIT: Getting heavier!

There must be a few inches here now, although the snow is now easing off a little.

Same here mate, after being bombarded with snow, for the past hour, it's quietened down now. If we don't see anything else tonight, I'll still be extremely happy. :)

I agree,

lets hope people in the West get it tomorrow, as the gfs was showing the showers penetrating right through to the other side of the humber!

Rain now stopped so still some snow left. Warning should have been for ice not snow so another weather front off NO as per normal.

Just had huge flakes here in Grimsby, steady snow for the past couple of hours, looking at the radar I would say we have about another half an hour or so. Really hope it freezes hard then. What are the chances of the showers reaching the east coast tomorrow. The band of showers on the lastest beeb forcast looks interesting.
