I noticed the car temp got upto 3ºc during the rain (was in Rotherham at the time) and 2 hours later it was at freezing again.

Stupid evil warm sectors spoiling things. Having said that, the snowcover here in Leeds survives (check webcam).

What's this about more snow tomorrow?

Snowing moderate to heavy here now, coming down much harder.

There's a narrow band heading straight for me and it's slowly intensifying.

The forecasters mentioned showers spreading into the Midlands so you never know.

Cool, good luck mate :drinks:

this snow is now fairly heavy with larger flakes!

i expect us to keep getting more streams of snow until about 3am tomorrow morning, before it clears away and temps drop off.

Tomorrow - well showers could be anywhere, it's a low pressure so cannot rule out any more snow anywhere.

How well have you done tonight mate?

Pretty well thankyou. We had massive flakes for ages that gave a couple of inches that topped up lastnights. Mind you it seems mild outside, when is it supposed to freeze? How did you do Buddy?

Snowing moderately to heavy here in Leeds. Might see it on the webcam.

Probably the "West" side of West Yorks that get the most as it's significantly higher. I'm on the Eastern side of West Yorks.

Anyhow, more info on the rain/snow...

A colleague said that parts of Halifax were crawling as the roads had a layer of snow, someone hit a house in Queensbury. It wasn't deep, more or less caught unaware drivers out.

Also hight played a big part as further down the road, it was totally snowless.

Because of the darkness, it's a bit difficult to get a decent quality shot, but I hope these give some sort of impression of the conditions here. Hopefully, I'll get out tomorrow and take something that's a little better

There's easily 2 inches of lying snow here, and i just hope the temps start dropping away very soon.
