Raining here in Shoebury

Amazing it is still snowing here in Leigh - Guess the extra elevation makes all the difference

Snow in the Wind in Whitstable, North Central Kent Coast.

Temp still showing -1c, Wind W at 10mph

Hoping that the radars dark colours will reach us in the next hour with heavy snow. Glad Paul has it in Essex which is a good sign for Whitstable on this current path!

Nice big snow flakes here right now, not too heavy mind you but the front seems to be weakenig almost as quickly as it pepped up at the moment, in the meantime its powering up west of London near Reading instead.

Odd how its raining in Gravsend, I'd suspect it probably has something to do with the wind direction being onshore making it just the wrong side of marginal whilst here we've got land to our north which is keeping it just the rigbt side of marginal.

to be honest i think its london itself.. all it needed was slight warming as we are only just above freezing this side before it hit.. oh well.. had a strange feeling this was all to good to be true.

Oh no! I waited patiently all night for that front to come down, and now rain! How disappointing, how funny!

Me too. It's been freezing cold all day and now rain, thankfully it should pass through quick sharp.

That'll come here then? As snow....? I saw snow near me on BBC radar for 3am......is that is or something else?

Pretty weak stuff here, the band really has decayed over the last 30 mins, still it's going to allow everything to ice up in a big way yet again tomorrow...probably a dusting here but that'll be it from this load....much heavier stuff blowing up west of London heading for the Woking/Guildford region...

Snow now virtually stopped in Norwich - 2.8cm in total (the best we've done out of this cold spell)

Maybe another cm or so later if those showers behind continue on the same track

Thankfully the snow cum rain has now gone and hopefully it will get colder now. Still a pink sky in nw 10 so who knows we may pick up a snow shower later. This band mild!

I live in South Woodham... it's not lots from my POV but then I've spent 90% of my time at the computer. whenever I've looked out the window it's seemed rather anti-climatic compared to the descriptions from elsewhere. still, we've got snow which is awesome!
