Sky turned to all grey now and

it's snowing lightly.

I've been watching that blob over you on the radar. I think you may do quite well from it. It just might miss us here in Grimsby.

Just a quick question,if i may.Does anyone else know if the low out over N/W Scotland is intensifying? The radar images suggest that there is much more precipitation to come down the irish sea and it all seems to be slipping south, rather than pushing north as the beeb suggest.Quite a covering here now thanks to an accumulation.drinks.gif

can someone tell me if west yorkshire could get some more snow later, there is a lot of PPN to the northwest. we have some deep snow now on the ground with plenty of drifts and it would be great if we could have a repeat of what we just had.

Front windows getting covered in snow some years since I've seen that. Like the old days.

I would say yes. There is another area of snow leading through the lakedistrict area. I would say another hour and it will get you.

Just add from the metoffice (for our area tomorrow)

Risk of disruption Warning Valid

Yorkshire & Humber:

E Riding of Yorkshire

Kingston upon Hull

N Lincolnshire

NE Lincolnshire

Widespread Icy Roads Mon 21 Dec

There is a moderate risk of severe weather affecting many parts of eastern England during Monday. A band of rain, sleet and snow is expected to extend northeastwards during the afternoon and evening. Clearing skies later on Monday may lead to widespread ice on untreated surfaces.

Issued at: 1138 Sun 20 Dec

Yeah, i've seen that. Don't like the RAIN word though, always worries me when we have snow on the ground.

Still very heavy snow pointless looking out the front window as you can't see the snow for the snow.
