It's still snowing, lightly here.

I'm working tomorrow, normal 12hr shift so i'll bid you all goodnight.

And i seen my first thunder snow of 2010, could it be because my new year resolution was to stop drinking. :yahoo:

Mate, i cant see it loosing intensity, the strength of the winds in this is wow, i could have sworn they was a blue flash, most probably a firework though, making it so hard to verify it lol.

What is a covering though? To me a covering is 5cm+ of snow.

A dusting :D is a covering too me, as it covers the paths and roads, 0.3cm at best on the roads, everything is white..

I thought you can get a covering at like 1CM snow on the ground.

A dusting i would class as a snow shower which has falling to the ground but has not covered all the surfaces properly.

A covering in my eyes is where you can't see the ground because of the snow lying on the ground. On the grass is slightly different as i don't class that as a covering until there is less than 10% of green grass poking through.

Who knows, you might get a covering tonight if your lucky but i would imagine any accumulations will be small.

Just had a light dusting here. Temp has risen from -1.1° to -0.5°C in the last ten minutes. DP is now -4.2°C. More to come seems like. Looks I missed the thnunder with all the fireworks here nonono.gif

Happy New Year to y'all! I'm off to bed now and will wake to see what the morning brings.
