WOW, I have not seen snow like this in Inverness for many years, There is much frolicking going on in my back garden!!!

Me neither! Absolutely brilliant!! :):);):)

Looking at the satellite pics looks like theres loads of heavy showers to come!!

Hopefully all night. Mustn't get greedy??? ;)

Some more Dee pics - looking east & west and a closeup shot. Taken after the bit of a thaw we had yesterday. What looks like water in the closeup shot is actually ice holding the slabs together.

Edited to add - the reason the ice is all chopped about is because the river is tidal here so the ice breaks with the ebb & flow. Also chunks detach from further upstream and are carried downstream and trapped.

Its here - very dark but not heavy yet. But this is Leith after all, alwys the poor relation ! :cold: :cold:
