Happy New Year all.

A couple of heavy showers at 2315 and early into the new year have given a nice 1cm+ of fresh cover. All looks very nice out there. :bomb:

Isn't that shower a beast mate, it really comes down hard, are you experiencing very strong wind gusts with it? my fence was rattling like hell lol..

Brilliant, less than 5 minutes of powdery snow and everything is covered.

00z nothing short of awesome, incredible potential through both realistic timeframes right up to the end of FI. no end to the cold in sight, as muted elsewhere the cold pool is not going anywhere fast.

Waited and waited and waited yesterday with no shower activity here in Scarborough. I was gazing at the sky last night with that beautiful bright moon illuminating all the fluffy cumulus and wondering what the fuss was all about!

Brilliantly, on the stroke of midnight (literaly) the white stuff started to fall! We've had very light snow showers since resulting in nothing but a dusting.

Brand new weather station set up last night shows temp of -0.5C. with a minimum of -2.5C last night.

Dew point is showing -175.2C! (Back to the instruction book!) :cold:

you lucky lot-meantime in downtown snowless Donny!

I tell a lie-close inspection of the frozen pond and patio boards showed an almost countable number of small hail pellets from sometime after 2am this morning!
