Low pressure circulation becoming evident on radar, looks like it tracking SSW at the moment which is better for you guys. I suspect some of you guys down there are going to cop 5-8 inches, possibly even more if the bullseye ends ups end a little more to the west.

I'd imagine this is how Boxing day 62 occured...

Be Patient. This is not the main event!

The warning was always looking to the Wiltshire/Dorset area for highest snowfall. We in Glos are still looking for a fair amount but just not "very heavy snowfall"

On and off light snow here.

Melting straight away when it falls.

Back to rather light snow here...i imagine the temporary covering will start to melt back soon but there were some huge flakes

N24 still mentioning gloucestershire, and if theyre going by the NAE, which from the extreme warnings it looks as though they are, im not entirely sure why

Keep an eye on the radar....starting to see some intensification of the southern extremity of the northern front across the bristol channel

Snowfall has become more moderate here again
