Steve,thats why the totals might be high...If it shifts across fast then there will only be a dusting...

25 miles in 3 hrs + its intensifying tonight as the LP develops(center)

It really doesn't bode well for round here.

Looks like we may get a little dusting but nothing more.

I think this band was meant to be more intense. but just look that way. It about 20miles wide and light ppn at the moment.

Glos will probably miss out again at this rate.

Still looking good to me Lynxus. If anything, the way it's moving is more towards the ESE, so when we do get the precip. it could stay around a while and "slide along us".

BBC N24 with the rather lovely Laura Tobin - worst affected areas: Hampshire, Wiltshire, Somerset and Gloucestershire

Makes me suspect the forecaster modified NAE might have things a touch further north - a sort of halfway house between GFS and NAE
